    摘要: An airvent assembly for a vehicle interior. The airvent assembly has a vane, a first flap, a first lever, a second lever and a movable disk. The first and the second levers are connected to the vane and the first flap, respectively. The first and the second levers have a first and a second guiding path, respectively. The movable disk is configured with a first and a second guiding pin. Upon actuation of the movable disk, one of the first or the second guiding pin engages with and moves within the first or the second guiding path to move the vane or the first flap to change the direction of an airflow or to at least partially prevent the airflow.

    摘要: A turning disc intermittent rotary mechanism in accordance with the invention includes at least one top disc flexibly mounted to a bottom seat, wherein at the center of the top disc is provided with a through hole and the bottom surface thereof is provided with sliding slots; and a main driving wheel flexibly mounted to the bottom seat using a round through hole provided in advance, wherein at the side of the upper surface of the main driving wheel is provided with a small pulley that is disposed in the sliding slots and is capable of sliding. Consequently, the force produced by the small pulley acting at the long sliding slot thereof is effectively reduced, thereby lengthening the lifespan of the force transmission mechanism including the small pulley and the main driving wheel.

    摘要: An improved planetary traction drive mechanism for use in actuating a throttle valve assembly is provided. An electric drive motor supports a cup-shaped member defining the outer ring of the mechanism. The drive shaft of the motor extends into the cup-shaped member to define a sun roller and forming an annular space between the sun roller and the outer ring. An output plate is rotatably supported on the drive shaft, and one or more deformable planetary friction rollers are disposed in radial compression between the outer ring and the sun roller are mounted on the plate. An output shaft extends from the plate and may or may not be coaxially aligned with the sun roller. The output shaft may be connected via a link to a lever arm on the throttle shaft of the throttle valve, which may be used on an internal combustion engine.

    摘要: An improved planetary traction drive mechanism for use in actuating a throttle valve assembly. An electric drive motor supports a cup-shaped member defining the outer ring of the mechanism. The drive shaft of the motor extends into the cup-shaped member to define a sun roller and forming an annular space between the sun roller and the outer ring. An output plate is rotatably supported on the drive shaft, and one or more planetary friction rollers disposed in radial compression between the outer ring and the sun roller are mounted on the plate. An output shaft extends from the plate and may or may not be coaxially aligned with the sun roller. The output shaft may be connected via a link to a lever arm on the throttle shaft of the throttle valve, which may be used on an internal combustion engine. The planetary rollers are formed from a resilient composite polymer which is mildly compressible, has a suitably high coefficient of sliding friction against metal, a low coefficient of wear, and a high resistance to flexural fatigue. The rollers may be formed as solid disks of resilient polymer but preferably include deformable cylinders of resilient polymer loosely positioned on the pins. The rollers have unstressed diameters greater than the radial distance between the sun roller and the outer ring, so that the rollers must be compressed in order to be installed therein, thereby creating tractive friction with the sun roller and the outer ring.

    摘要: A mechanical transmission module has two plates, a transmission mechanism and an actuating axle. The two plates are mounted together with a gap formed between the plates. The transmission mechanism is mounted between the plates. The transmission mechanism can be a Geneva mechanism, a worm and gear mechanism, a belt drive assembly, a threaded rod and slide mechanism, a geared mechanism and so on. The actuating axle extends out from the two plates and drives the transmission mechanism. A connector is secured to a free end of the actuating axle. The connector has a groove and a protrusion in the external face to engage with the groove and protrusion on the connector of another mechanical transmission module. Accordingly, the transmission mechanisms can be modularized and combined with each other. The combination and transmission relations between different types of transmission mechanisms are easily be understood through use of the modules.

The Geneva Mechanism includes a star wheel and a rotating driver. The star wheel includes slots and is operationally associated with the load. The rotating driver includes a drive pin which cooperates with the slots to cause an intermittent rotation of the star wheel. Either the slots or the drive pin is shaped in a controlled manner to permit optimum acceleration and deceleration of the star wheel.

    摘要: An apparatus for cutting and dispensing segments of thermoplastic material into receptacles such as crowns, particularly into those having relatively high sidewalls, includes a conveyor for conveying the crowns through a passageway at predetermined speeds, an extruder for extruding thermoplastic material through a discharge opening, a rotary knife having blades for cutting the extruded material into segments and depositing the segments into the receptacles as they are conveyed through the passage, and a drive system for rotating the blade in response to the conveying of the receptacles. The output or driven shaft of the drive system is coupled to the rotary knife and intermittently rotates 180 degrees at a time at a speed which is twice that of the input or drive shaft, thereby avoiding contact of the knife blades with the receptacle sidewalls and ensuring clean cutting of the thermoplastic material even at low speeds of closure conveyance.

    摘要: Service equipment for use in hostile environments includes a detachable service unit secured to a stationary service unit. The detachable service unit includes a housing with an exterior plate, a power control interface for connection to an exterior power source, locating pins located in said exterior plate, an electrical connector in the exterior plate electrically coupled to said power control interface, and a pair of clamping receptacles formed in the exterior plate and located on adjacent opposite edges of the exterior plate. The stationary unit includes an electrical connector for connection to the electrical connector of the detachable service unit, a clamping apparatus for clamping and unclamping the detachable service unit from the stationary unit, a base clamp assembly for mounting the clamping apparatus onto the stationary unit, and locating pin holes for receiving the locating pins and aligning the detachable service unit onto the stationary unit. The detachable service unit and stationary unit have mating scalloped faces which aid in alignment and provide a mechanism for heat dissipation.
