The diaphragm device also includes a first set of plural concentrically arranged transparent electrodes, a second set of plural concentrically arranged transparent electrodes and third electrodes formed on the outermost peripheries of these sets of transparent electrodes for acting as counter-electrodes for the transparent electrodes. The diaphragm device has a sufficient light transmittance when in the transparent state, while having high light interrupting properties when in the light interrupting state.

    摘要: An automatic focusing system includes a photo-sensitive element for receiving light passing a main lens system of a camera. The photo-sensitive element produces a distance indicative signal based on the received light. The main lens system is driven to a position to focus upon an object on the basis of the distance indicative signal from the photo-sensitive element. The system is also provided with an auxiliary light generating element for emitting an auxiliary light to the object. The auxiliary light generating element is activated while distance measurement is performed for focusing operation in order to enable the automatic focusing system to perform a distance measurement and focus upon the object even in dark environmental conditions or upon dark objects. The auxiliary light generating element may be selected to emit an infrared light beam or a far infrared light beam.

    摘要: This invention provides a rolling mill and a rolling-mill train which are compact. Reducers to be coupled with them can be made compact. The inner surfaces of pipes to be rolled with the rolling mill and the rolling-mill train can be prevented from becoming squarish. The rolling mill comprises a plurality of rolls disposed symmetrically around the pathline of the rolling mill, an annular driving bevel gear of a large diameter for driving and rotating the rolls, an input-shaft mechanism for rotating the driving bevel gear, a plurality of transmission mechanisms disposed at regular intervals along the driving bevel gear, and a housing for holding them. The input-shaft mechanism (i) has an input shaft inserted in the housing from its outside and an input bevel gear of a small diameter mounted on the input shaft and engaging with the driving bevel gear and (ii) is disposed between two adjacent transmission mechanisms. With the input shaft disposed horizontally, the phase angle of the roll unit can be adjusted minutely.

    摘要: An IP terminal apparatus has a SIP controller, a UDP packet controller, and an RTP controller. The SIP controller transmits and receives a call control message in order to establish a connection to and from a destination apparatus. The UDP packet controller transmits and receives media data with the destination apparatus in a media session after the connection was established. The RTP controller obtains source port number information of a media data packet that the UDP packet controller has received from the destination apparatus, and sets the obtained source port number as a destination port number for a packet to be transmitted to the destination apparatus. Thereby, a feasible range of NAT traversal can be improved in a simple and secure manner, even when at least one relay apparatuses employs symmetric NAT.
