摘要： A printing unit for a digital multi-color printing machine, in particular for an electrophotographically operating, preferably sheet-printing printing machine, said printing unit comprising at least one transfer element (11), preferably an imaging cylinder (31) and/or a cylinder bearing a rubber blanket, for the transfer of a printing image. The invention provides a multi-color printing machine which also allows the production of high-quality prints with fewer colors, i.e., in a more cost-effective manner than if a multi-color print were produced with the same printing machine. In accordance with the invention, this object is achieved by a printing unit for a digital multi-color printing machine, which is characterized in that the transfer element (11) is moved from a transfer position into an inoperative position.

摘要： A device for printing a substrate web moved in a direction of transport past a printing unit includes a substrate web lifting device arranged opposite the at least one printing unit. The lifting device has a jacket surface opposite the printing unit. An air cushion unit forms an air cushion between the substrate web and the jacket surface of the substrate web lifting device, so that lifting of the substrate web is achieved. Printing can be accomplished by guiding the substrate web over the jacket surface. A region of the substrate web is lifted in a printing region by developing an air cushion between the substrate web and the jacket surface of the substrate web lifting device. The lifted region of the substrate web is printed.

In addition, a printing device (1) for printing a printing substrate (6) is described, said printing device (1) comprising at least one first printing unit (9) and at least one second printing unit (9), the at least one first printing unit (9), viewed in a transport direction (A) of the printing substrate (6), being located upstream of the at least one second printing unit (9). Furthermore, at least one sensor is provided, said sensor being aligned in a prespecified fixed positional relationship with respect to the first printing unit (9) and being directed at a position of a printing substrate path that is located, viewed in transport direction of the printing substrate, between the at least one first printing unit and the at least one second printing unit, and at least one adjustment unit is provided for the adjustment of the at least one second printing unit transverse to the transport direction (A) of the printing substrate (6) based on a signal of the at least one sensor.
