    摘要: A medical system comprising a display is presented. In response to the reception of triggering information, a subset of data is selected from a displayed or non-displayed dataset according to a data priority scheme and the displayed dataset is replaced by the display of the selected subset of data. The display of the selected subset of data uses a variety of rendering options. The triggering information is provided by the user or provided by one or more sensors. The data priority scheme is predefined or computed. It is static or dynamic. The data priority scheme can comprise a threshold which is applied for the selection or determination of the subset of data. Examples of priorities associated with data for diabetes care are provided. A range of displays can be used and combined.

    摘要: A device and method for delivering insulin to a patient is disclosed. The method includes receiving an amount of insulin to deliver to a patient and beginning delivery of the insulin to the patient. The method further includes monitoring the delivery of the insulin to determine whether the insulin pump is able to deliver the entire amount of insulin and maintaining a timer until the insulin pump recommences the delivery of the insulin. The method includes comparing an amount of time indicated by the timer to a threshold. The method further includes generating a first insulin delivery record indicating that a first amount of insulin was delivered when the amount of time indicated by the timer is less than the threshold and a second insulin record indicating that a second amount of insulin was delivered when the amount of time indicated by the timer is greater than the threshold.

    摘要: A portable drug administration device includes a pump and a controller configured to control operation of the pump according to a standard administration mode and a suspend mode in which drug administration is temporarily suspended. The device is configured to generate an event trigger on the occurrence of at least one of an error condition and/or the beginning of a maintenance action by the user. The controller is configured to detect the occurrence of the event trigger, and to store, in response to the event trigger, administration data, the administration data comprising all information that characterizes the current administration according at the time of occurrence of the event trigger automatically in a memory and to switch the device from the standard administration mode to the suspend mode. The controller is further configured to detect the occurrence of a restoring trigger and to retrieve, in response to the restoring trigger, the administration data from the memory, to switch the device from the suspend mode to the standard administration mode and to control the pump to resume administration according to the retrieved administration data.
