    摘要: In a finger vein authentication unit and an information processing unit using the same, in order to realize a reduction in size and maintain high accuracy such that the finger vein authentication unit is applied to a small-sized information processing unit such as a mobile telephone, the finger vein authentication unit includes a light source which irradiates infrared light to a finger, an imaging sensor which images a vein image by the light which is diffused in the finger and transmitted through the front side of the finger, and an image processing unit which processes the image. The light source is mounted on the front side of the finger and emits the light toward the side surfaces of the finger. Further, a wall is disposed on either side of the finger vein authentication unit for supporting the finger and guiding the irradiated infrared light.

    摘要: A rotary magnetic head cylinder device for use in a helical-scanning system video tape recorder has a projection provided on a tape running race of a stationary lower cylinder near a location at which a magnetic tape leaves from the lower cylinder. The projection is preferably integral with the tape running race and has a small area which is defined by a shoulder circumferentially extending identically with a tape guide shoulder contouring the lower edge of the tape running race and which spreads perpendicularly to the tape running race, and an upper surface coplanar with the top face of the lower cylinder, and a height defined by a protruded length radially outwardly toward the outer circumferential surface of the lower cylinder. The projection serves to reduce vibrations of the magnetic tape generated when the video head carried by the rotary upper cylinder leaves from the magnetic tape.

    摘要: A rotary cylinder device for helical scan type magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus including a rotary cylinder having an axis of rotation arranged in opposition a stationary cylinder in the direction of the axis of rotation with a small gap therebetween. The rotary cylinder has an end surface facing the stationary cylinder and an outer peripheral surface, recesses formed in the end surface and opening in the outer peripheral surface so as to extend therefrom radially inwardly over a small distance. Each of the recesses has a leading end wall and a trailing end wall, as viewed in the direction of rotation of the rotary cylinder. Magnetic heads are fixed to the rotary cylinder and are positioned in the recesses and have outer extremities projecting beyond the outer peripheral surface of the rotary cylinder. The distance between the leading end wall and the trailing end wall of each recess progressively decreases towards the axis of rotation of the rotary cylinder so that the distance is greatest at the outer end of the recess adjacent the magnetic head and the smallest at the inner end of the recess remote from the magnetic head.
