摘要: There is provided an information processing device to reduce a processing load associated with inner product operations while also guaranteeing the quantization granularity of weight coefficients, the information processing device including: a computational unit configured to compute an output value by performing an inner product operation based on multiple input values and multiple weight coefficients corresponding to each of the input values. The computational unit computes the output value on the basis of the weight coefficients quantized on the basis of a granularity of a vector direction on an N-dimensional hypersphere surface. Moreover, provided is an information processing device including: a multiply-accumulate operation circuit configured to execute a multiply-accumulate operation based on multiple input values and multiple weight coefficients corresponding to each of the input values. The multiply-accumulate operation circuit includes a memory circuit configured to hold address information and a multiplication circuit configured to execute operations.

摘要: The present technique relates to a transmission apparatus, a transmission method, a reception apparatus, and a reception method that can ensure favorable communication quality in data transmission using an LDPC code. LDPC coding is performed based on a check matrix of an LDPC code with a code length N of 69120 bits and a code rate r of 2/16, 3/16, or 4/16. The check matrix includes a matrix A with M1 rows and K columns, where M1 represents a predetermined value, and K=N×r represents an information length of the LDPC code, a matrix B with M1 rows and M1 columns in a dual diagonal structure, a matrix Z with M1 rows and N−K−M1 columns that is a zero matrix, a matrix C with N−K−M1 rows and K+M1 columns, and a matrix D with N−K−M1 rows and N−K−M1 columns that is an identity matrix. The matrix A and the matrix C are represented by a check matrix initial value table. The check matrix initial value table is a table indicating positions of elements of 1 in the matrix A and the matrix C on a basis of 360 columns and is a predetermined table. The present technique can be applied to, for example, data transmission using the LDPC code.

A position of the interchanged code bit obtained from data transmitted from the transmitting device is returned to an original position. The present technology is applicable to a case of transmitting data using an LDPC code, for example.

摘要: A data processing apparatus and a data processing method which enable provision of an LDPC code that achieves good error-rate performance. An LDPC encoding unit performs encoding using an LDPC code having a code length of 64800 bits and a code rate of 18/30, 19/30, 20/30, 21/30, 22/30, or 23/30. The LDPC code includes information bits and parity bits, and a parity check matrix H is composed of an information matrix portion corresponding to the information bits of the LDPC code, and a parity matrix portion corresponding to the parity bits. The information matrix portion of the parity check matrix H is represented by a parity check matrix initial value table that shows positions of elements of 1 in the information matrix portion in units of 360 columns. The apparatus and method may be applied to LDPC encoding and LDPC decoding.
