Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a voice acquisition section, a reliability generation section, and a processing execution section. The voice acquisition section acquires an ambient voice. The reliability generation section generates reliability indicating a degree in which the acquired voice is uttered from the particular position on the basis of a predetermined transfer characteristic. As the predetermined transfer characteristic, a phase difference or acoustic characteristic of the voice can be assumed. The processing execution section executes a process according to the generated reliability. As the process according to the reliability, a notification according to the reliability or a predetermined command can be assumed to be executed.

Abstract: A wide angle image to be displayed on a screen fixed on the head or the face of a user is processed. When a display view angle reaches a boundary of an original wide angle image 701, an indicator 703 indicating reaching the boundary is added to a free viewpoint image 702. The indicator 703 is a part of the free viewpoint image 702 which is in contact with a boundary 704 of the wide angle image 701 or protrudes from the boundary 704 and is displayed as a black-painted frame. By observing such the indicator 703, the user can intuitively understand that the display area reaches the limit of the wide angle image.

Abstract: Provided is an image display device configured to display a free viewpoint image that tracks a movement of observer's head and trunk.The line-of-sight direction and trunk orientation of the user are individually oriented in a free viewpoint space displayed on a display device 500 based on posture information of the user's head and trunk, which are respectively obtained from a head motion tracking device 200 and a trunk motion tracking device 300. A behavior that is natural in real space can be represented by moving a line of sight to a front direction of the trunk on a space in a state where the line of sight does not match the front direction of the trunk. An unnatural UI that goes straight to the line-of-sight direction is prevented regardless of orientation of the trunk.
