    摘要: As an example, a value obtained by adding the magnitudes of a plurality of angular velocities around respective axes indicated by angular velocity data obtained from an input device including gyroscopic sensors, is used to calculate a rotation parameter indicating a rotation amount. A predetermined object which is rotated, depending on the rotation amount corresponding to the rotation parameter, is displayed on a display device. As another example, when it is determined, based on the angular velocity data, that the attitude of the input device is stable, a stability flag which indicates that the attitude of the input device has been at least once stable is set and updated to ON. When there is an input device whose stability flag is OFF, the aforementioned determination is performed and a screen including a result of the determination is displayed on a display device.

A player instructs an enemy character displayed on the LCD by use of a stick to attack the enemy character. For example, in a case that the enemy character exists at a depth of a game screen, little damage is applied to the enemy character, and a weak vibration is applied to the game apparatus. Conversely, in a case that the enemy character exists at a front of the game screen, much damage is applied to the character, and a strong vibration is applied to the game apparatus. In either case, the vibrations are transmitted to the fingers or hands of the payer via the stick.

    摘要: Reading from a RAM, image data of a rotating object, and displaying the rotating object on the display screen; obtaining touch position coordinates on the touch panel; when a contact to the touch panel is performed, calculating at each interval of a given period, an angle variation amount between coordinates displaying a rotation axis of the rotating object and the touch position coordinates; periodically adding to an operation parameter stored in the RAM, a value resulting from a multiplication of a coefficient with the angle variation amount, wherein the coefficient changes in accordance with a size of the parameter; and changing a display angle of the rotating object on the display screen in accordance with a change in the operation parameter. Therefore, there is realized an input operation for controlling a movement of an object by using a touch panel, wherein the input operation has good operability without being monotonous.

Also, when it is determined that a part of the object has contacted the predetermined surface, the game device lands the object on the predetermined surface in a position such that the specified vector faces toward the predetermined surface, and is perpendicular to the predetermined surface.
