Abstract:
Embodiments relate generally to devices and methods for analyzing trip information and providing suggestions and information to a user based on the analysis involving the head unit of a vehicle. Analysis may comprise creating a user profile based on activity of a user of the vehicle, wherein the user may be identified by connection with a mobile device associated with the user. The user profile may then be used to determine suggestions or warnings for a user based on current trip information. Analysis may also comprise receiving weather and/or traffic information corresponding to the trip information and determining suggestions or warning for a user based on the effects of the weather and/or traffic.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media, for facilitating control of network loads are provided. In embodiments of the present invention, network data associated with a plurality of base stations within a communications network are monitored. Upon identifying that a network load associated with a base station exceeds a network load threshold, an indication that a user device utilizing the base station that exceeds the network load threshold to communicate should transfer to another base station that fails to exceed the network load threshold is provided.
Abstract:
The systems and methods discussed herein enable telecommunications service providers to track opt-ins (consent) to premium service and goods purchases. An industry aggregator gateway may be employed to receive short codes in messages built by IP messaging applications capable of data transmission, and may transmit the messages to telecommunications service providers and receive purchase information associated with various short codes. At least some of this purchase information is displayed to users to obtain consent to the purchase, and the consent trail from the request to the acceptance of purchase information, including terms and charges, is tracked and stored.
Abstract:
Embodiments relate generally to devices and methods for tracking events of a vehicle and associating those events with the driver and/or passengers within the vehicle at the time the events occurred. This may be accomplished by associating an individual identifier of a mobile device with a driver and/or passenger and connecting the mobile device to the head unit of the vehicle, wherein the head unit of the vehicle then associates the individual identifier of the mobile device with the tracked events.
