    Abstract: A system and method for creating a dynamic trip plan for a driver between a first site and a second site in addition to providing parking suggestions to the driver. The system and method includes computing an estimated time of arrival and an estimated time of departure for a plurality of stops of travel of a vehicle between a first site and a second site, generating a dynamic trip plan based on the estimated time of arrival and the estimated time of departure, receiving a driver input indicating at least one of an adjusted time of departure from a stop, an adjusted time of arrival at a stop, or an adjusted break time, and updating the dynamic trip plan based on the driver input.

    Abstract: Techniques for notifying a driver of locations at which the driver can stop to comply with hours of service (HOS) rules are provided. In some examples, a navigation application compares the amount of time a driver has driven a vehicle to HOS rules to determine the remaining time the driver may drive before violating the rules, and identifies potential rest stops reachable within the remaining time and displays the rest stops to the driver. In some examples, the navigation application predicts an amount of time it will take a driver to drive a generated route and compares the predicted time to HOS rules to determine a number or frequency of rest stops needed for the driver to comply. Based on the number or frequency of rest stops, the navigation application identifies potential rest stops near the route and displays the rest stops to the driver without altering the route.

    Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for intelligent ad-based routing. In example aspects, a destination input, desired time for arrival, and user profile data is received in a ride-sharing application. The input data is classified by applying one or more machine-learning models to the data. Based on the classified data results, candidate physical advertisement locations may be selected along a certain route. Different types of routes may be selected that range from the shortest possible route (i.e., a direct route) to a major detour (i.e., the most cost-effective route). A major detour takes the user on a route that exposes the user to as many advertisements as possible while still arriving at the final destination before the desired time of arrival. In exchange for a longer route and more exposure to physical advertisements, the cost of the ride may be offset. While the user is in proximity to the physical advertisement along the route, businesses associated with the physical advertisement locations may transmit real-time advertisements/messages to the user to be displayed on a user device, a vehicular device, and/or a combination of the two. During the ride, the real-time business information may be received that may alter the route to maximize the effectiveness of real-time advertisement delivery.
