    摘要: This invention relates to an air classifier for the separation of granular material into three fractions, whereby each individual fraction is very precisely separated in a single housing. The classifier incorporates motor-driven separator/classifying wheels each of which is provided with a tangential separating-air supply at the level of the respective wheel, a fixed guide vane ring positioned at a radial distance from the circumference of the respective separating wheel, and at least one bulk-product feeder system as well as discharge provisions for fine, intermediate and coarse material, respectively. The wheels are provided with a closed cover disk at their respective first axial end and with fine and, respectively, medium fraction discharge port at their respective second axial end. The closed cover disks of the wheels form a free-flow gap in the space between the two stages of the classifier. An outward flow of air at the level of the upper and lower areas of the gap and an inward flow of air at the level of the center of the gap combine to produce a rotating eddy current or vortex in the separating zone. The vortex causes an extended dwell time of the dispersed bulk material particles in the transition zones of the two separating stages.

    摘要: The invention concerns the design of classifying wheel made of a waterproof sintered material with vanes arranged in a ring that run parallel to the rotational axis and that are positioned between the hub-bearing circular disc and an annular cover disc, whereby the flow of the classifying air through the vanes is contrary to the centrifugal direction of the classifying wheel. Described is a classifying wheel design which permits manufacture of such a classifying wheel in an economical manner with a high degree of manufacturing accuracy even if the classifying wheel has an outside diameter in excess of 250 mm and which ensures the required degree of fracture resistance for any standard sintered material. This is achieved in that the classifying wheel is made up of simple ring elements joined together by a self-sintering filler, e.g. an adhesive, introduced into the gaps between the ring elements.

    摘要: Fluidized-bed opposed jet mills, configured as separator mills, and provided with easy accessibility so that the interior space can be easily cleaned with little effort. The separator wheel is formed together with the bearing unit and the actuator unit as one component, which is detachably attached to the grinding container and can be moved relative to the grinding container by kinematic devices in such a manner that the separator wheel can be removed from the grinding container upward through the discharge outlet for finely ground material, while the discharge device for the finely ground material remains connected to the grinding container. In this manner, the separator mill can be easily assembled and disassembled by the user and the separator mill becomes easily accessible for thorough cleaning. This is particularly advantageous when the material to be ground is changed frequently, as is the case in the pharmaceutical and chemical fields.
