摘要： An electrode for mercury chlor-alkali electrolytic cells includes a plurality of activated electrode elements consisting of flat sections standing on edge and having recesses on their lateral surfaces which extend from the lower edge to the upper edge of the lateral surfaces. The recesses in the lateral surfaces promote the transport of the gas bubbles produced electrolytically away from the area of the electrode gap and achieve a boundary surface as free of gas bubbles as possible between the anode and the electrolyte in the area of the electrode gap for the purpose of improving the energy efficiency.

摘要： An electrode plate of planar structure contains lamellar electrode elements, with adjacent electrode elements being separated from one another by a gap. For a better escape of the gas from the electrode/membrane area, the lamellar electrode elements are provided with an expanded-metal structure, the openings of which serve to improve the passage of gas. The electrode elements are provided with angled upper edge strips in order to facilitate the escape of gas in the vertical direction. The electrode configuration is particularly suitable as an anodically connected electrode in direct contact with an ion exchanger membrane, but can also be used as a cathode at a distance from the membrane.

A communications device has hardware and software to provide input and transmission to convert content from any form of media. The converted content is created by retrieving a digital copy of a digital record associated with it, and processing the digital copy for at least a web-based personalized application. Conversion is based on input of a code such as a telephone number, server program address, and a set of and/or range of characters. The transmission is communicated to at least one server that recognizes the code, the originating telephone number associated with the communications device, the device identifier associated with the communications device, and combinations thereof. The server retrieves a digital record and processes content and outputs based on user input, a user and/or program profile, and combinations thereof.
