A method for enhancing payload control is disclosed. The method includes removing material during a plurality of work cycles with at least one loading machine and associating the loading machine relative to at least one haulage machine. The method also includes determining the relative locations of the loading machine and the haulage machine and, during the plurality of work cycles, loading removed material into the haulage machine with the loading machine. The method also includes determining payload and payload distribution within the haulage machine at least before a last work cycle of the plurality of work cycles and communicating to the loading machine, via a machine-to-machine communication system, the amount and position within the haulage machine of additional payload desired in at least the last work cycle of the plurality of work cycles for desired payload and payload distribution.

N-(Triazoloazinyl)arylsulfonamide compounds, such as 2,6-dimethoxy-N-(8-chloro-5-methoxy�1,2,4!-triazolo�1,5-c!pyrimidin-2-yl)benzenesulfonamide, 2-methoxy-4-(trifluoromethyl)-N-(5,8-dimethoxy�1,2,4!-triazolo�1,5-c!pyrimidin-2-yl)pyridine-3-sulfonamide, and 2-methoxy-6-methoxycarbonyl-N-(5,8-dimethoxy�1,2,4!triazolo�1,5-a!pyridin-2-yl)benzenesulfonamide were prepared from appropriately substituted 2-amino�1,2,4!triazolo-�1,5-c!pyrimidine and 2-amino�1,2,4!triazolo�1,5-a!-pyridine compounds and appropriately substituted benzene-sulfonyl chloride and pyridine-3-sulfonyl chloride compounds. The compounds were found to be useful as herbicides.

A system and method for diagnosing output power of an internal combustion engine includes means for diagnosing potential causes of low engine output power or torque and means for estimating actual engine output power or torque. In a preferred embodiment of the diagnosis of engine output power, low engine output power is first investigated for authenticity to verify whether a low engine output power condition exists. If one exists, a zero fueling engine cranking test is conducted to determine whether relative compression values for each of the cylinders are within specification, and any problems associated therewith are corrected by service personnel. If the low engine output power problem is not corrected in accordance with the engine cranking test, a snap-throttle cylinder balancing test is conducted to balance the relative power contribution from each cylinder. If the cylinder balancing test does not correct the low engine output power problem, a road test is conducted to estimate the actual engine output power for comparison with a rated engine output power over a desired range of engine speeds.
