摘要:
A system for delivering multiple passive optical network services is disclosed. The system includes a first optical transmission service comprising a common wavelength pair routed from a source to each of a plurality of subscribers. The system further includes a second optical transmission service comprising a plurality of unique wavelength pairs, where each of the unique wavelength pairs is routed from the source to a subscriber among the plurality of subscribers. The system delivers the first optical transmission service and the second optical transmission service to the subscriber on a single optical fiber.

A telecommunications module includes a plurality of adapters mounted at a front face. The adapters are provided in groups of two and are stacked extending from the top to the bottom of the module. The front face of the module defines a center portion, a right portion, and a left portion. According to one embodiment, the right and the left portions are generally angled forwardly at an acute angle relative to a line that is perpendicular to the sides of the module as they extend from the center toward the right and left sides of the module. Each angled portion defines a slope as it extends from the center portion toward the right and left sides. The angled portions define a stepped configuration as they extend from the center toward the sides. Each step in the stepped configuration defines adapter receptacles that are also angled at an acute angle with respect to a line that generally defines the slope of the angle of the right and left angled portions. According to another aspect of the disclosure, the right and the left portions of the front face are generally angled rearwardly at an acute angle with respect to a line that is perpendicular to the sides of the module as they extend from the center toward the right and left sides. Stacked adapters mounted to the angled portions have longitudinal axes that are perpendicular to slopes defined by the angled portions.

A telecommunications termination panel includes a pivoting tray with cable connection locations. Cables extending to the connection locations enter through the rear or the side and exit through the side of the panel. Cable management structures direct cables to and away from the connection locations. A first trough extends from the rear to the front of the panel housing, the first trough raised from the floor thereof. A second trough extends from the rear to the front of the tray and is pivotal relative to the first trough with movement of the tray. When the tray is closed, the troughs are parallel and when the tray is open, the troughs are perpendicular to each other. The second trough is raised from the first trough such that cables extending from the first into the second trough are not pinched when the tray is pivoted closed.

Embodiments of the present invention improve upon component level inspection performed by pick and place machines. Such improvements include inspecting the pick operation in pick and place machines by collecting images of the pick event inside the machine and identifying errors as they happen. By detecting and displaying this information as it generated on the machine, the operator or machine can take prompt and effective corrective actions.

An insect-infestation prevention device and a fiber optic telecommunications equipment including an insect-infestation prevention device is disclosed. The fiber optic telecommunications equipment includes a housing with a main housing portion defining a first transverse wall, a front wall, a rear wall, a top wall, and a bottom wall, cooperatively defining an interior. A cable exit/entry is provided opening on one of the front wall, the rear wall, the top wall, and the bottom wall. A removable insect-infestation prevention device is located adjacent the cable exit/entry opening, the insect-infestation prevention device including cable openings communicating with the cable exit/entry opening. The cable openings of the device are sized to accommodate fiber optic cables exiting or entering the housing while limiting the amount of free space around the fiber optic cables to prevent insects from entering the housing. A removable cover mounted to the main housing portion defines a second transverse wall of the housing and captures the insect-infestation prevention device against the main housing portion.
