摘要:
A method to reclaim or recycle asphalt or asphalt components to produce reusable asphalt or asphalt components featuring (a) providing crushed asphalt or asphalt components, and (b) adding the asphalt or asphalt components to a solvent in which the asphalt binder is soluble. The solvent may be at approximately ambient temperature and may be, for instance, heptane, hexane, naphta, kerosene, gasoline or a petroleum based solvent or any other suitable solvent in which the asphalt binder is soluble. The solvent may be added in a standard automated parts washer or equivalent equipment to provide exposure to one or more solvents in which the asphalt binder is soluble. The method may further feature c) grinding or breaking the asphalt to be reclaimed or recycled into chunks, millings or particulate prior to step a), d) screening or separating coarse aggregate and fine aggregate asphalt components from the solution of b), d) cleaning or removing asphalt binder and/or the solution from the coarse aggregate and fine aggregate asphalt components screened or separated in step c), and e) cleaning or removing asphalt binder from the solution of b).

A method is disclosed for the retrieval and recovery of organic-based or organic-containing materials, including naturally occurring substances such as crude oil, and other petroleum-based or containing materials, natural gas, and the like, from environments where they are entrained within or otherwise admixed or complexed with other organic or inorganic materials, such as rock, sand, shale and the like. The method comprises: (a) retrieving a quantity of the petroleum-containing mixture, (b) treating the petroleum-containing mixture with a solvent for the petroleum material to separate the petroleum material from the mixture and (c) recovering the petroleum-containing material separated in step (b). The method also includes the reclamation or recycling of asphalt or asphalt components to produce reusable asphalt or asphalt components featuring (a) providing crushed asphalt or asphalt components, and (b) adding the asphalt or asphalt components to a solvent in which the asphalt binder is soluble. The solvent may be at approximately ambient temperature and may be, for instance, heptane, hexane, naphtha, kerosene, gasoline or a petroleum based solvent or any other suitable solvent in which the asphalt binder is soluble.
摘要:
A mopping device includes a mopping portion, a fluid release device for releasing fluid to at least one of a surface to be mopped and the mopping portion, a handle configured to be gripped by a user to control the mopping portion, and a reservoir for storing fluid. The reservoir can include an expandable bladder. The reservoir also can be configured such that air need not be evacuated from the reservoir during filling of the reservoir. The mopping device also can be part of a mopping system, in which a refill reservoir is provided to refill the reservoir of the mopping device.
摘要:
A medical cart is described and includes a work platform having a work surface and at least one compartment, a base, and a height adjustment mechanism for adjusting the height of the work platform relative to the base. A medication module is described and includes a plurality of compartments. The medical cart can be joined with a medication module. In addition, a plurality of medication modules can joined to form a train. The medical cart and medication module can be used collectively and individually in a variety of methods for transferring medicine.

摘要:
The liquid dispenser comprises a ratchet assembly, a rotor assembly, a reservoir assembly, and a drive mechanism. The reservoir assembly includes a reservoir and a reservoir tube; and the rotor assembly includes a drive gear and at least one compression element. The ratchet assembly includes a pawl configured to engage the drive gear when the drive mechanism is actuated. Optionally, the liquid dispenser includes a venting assembly and/or a dose control assembly. The venting assembly automatically vents the reservoir when the reservoir is mounted in the liquid dispenser. The dose control assembly allows the user to control the distance the drive mechanism may be actuated and thereby control the amount of liquid that is dispensed. The liquid dispenser of the invention provides accurate control over the amount of liquid that is dispensed as well as ease in replacing the reservoir.
