Abstract: A packaging box hoisting device includes a fixing arm arranged vertically. A lifting mechanism for driving the lifting of the fixing arm is arranged at a side of the fixing arm. Multiple operation stations are arranged in the fixing arm from top to bottom. A driving device for driving the operation station to move and fixing or releasing a packaging box in the operation station is arranged at an end of the operation station. A braking mechanism for keeping the packaging box in the operation station stationary at least when the driving device drives to release the packaging box in the operation station is also arranged at the side of the fixing arm. The packaging box hoisting device contributes to the completion of various processes for product packaging in the vertical direction.

Abstract: An article packaging machine and method or turning article packs, the article packaging machine having a turner station for turning article packs moving though the packaging machine. The packaging machine includes a main conveyor extending longitudinally from an upstream end to a downstream end and through the turning station. Article packs are carried by the main conveyor spaced and sequentially in the downstream direction through the turner station. The turner station includes flight drive assembly having multiple flight assemblies. The flight assemblies are driven above upper cam plates in the upstream direction, and below lower cam plates in the downstream direction. The flight assemblies include turner rods that are moved toward the main conveyor to contact the article pack in at least two points. The turner rods progressively move toward the main conveyor center line until the distal ends of the turner rods are moved past the article pack side walls and the pack is turned 90 degrees.

Abstract: An actuator system for fabricating a cavity within thermoplastic material includes a plurality of actuators arranged in an array. When dimensions of an item are determined, the actuator system may be programmed with data regarding such dimensions to fabricate a cavity for the item. A subset of the actuators, and distances by which each of the actuators is to be extended, may be selected based on dimensions of the item, in order to fabricate a cavity within the thermoplastic material that may accommodate the item therein. Additionally, the actuators and the distances may be selected based on intrinsic or extrinsic data regarding the item, and a cavity fabricated within the thermoplastic material may include one or more buffer zones or protective regions that are specifically formed with respect to aspects of the item.

Abstract: A container packaging apparatus includes a retainer for retaining the container; a container supplier for supplying a container to the retainer; a filler for filling contents into the container; and a cleaner for removing deposits on a flange portion of the container filled with the contents from the filler. The cleaner includes a covering member for covering an outer periphery of the flange portion of the container; a lifting device for relatively moving the covering member up and down with respect to the container so that the covering member covers the outer periphery of the flange portion of the container; an ejector for ejecting gas toward the flange portion of the container to blow off deposited matter; and a suction device for removing the deposited matter from inside the covering member after being blown off by the ejector.
