摘要： A system for decurling a sheet which is being advanced in a predetermined path within a printing machine includes a mechanism for generating a flow of room ambient air. The decurling system further includes a mechanism for directing the flow of room ambient air onto the sheet. Moreover, the decurling system includes a decurler adapted to apply mechanical force to the sheet after the flow of room ambient air has been directed onto the sheet by the directing mechanism. Finally, a mechanism is included for rotating the sheet to advance the sheet to the decurler in a direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of the predetermined path.

摘要： A mounting which supports a bearing in a machine frame. The mounting is molded with the bearing being molded integrally therewith in an aperture therein. The outer race of the bearing is in molded non-rotative engagement with the mounting. The mounting has a plurality of mounting supports. At least one of the mounting supports is adapted to be received by the frame.

摘要： Improved document handling for a xerographic copier with automatic ejection of documents from a full size conventional document copying platen is provided for a vacuum belt document handling system in a platen cover unit. A pivotal system is disclosed for limited lifting of the exit side of the vacuum belt system away from the platen for document ejection. The document ejection path includes a belt overlying, but extending beyond, the vacuum belt to improve stripping and an opposing air jet system for overcoming the effects of the reverse air flow caused by the vacuum belt system and the closely adjacent air impervious platen.
