Abstract: A charging device is configured with a power supply device and a DC-DC converter that have constant current voltage drooping type overcurrent protection characteristics and that are connected in series. A constant current value in a voltage drooping state of the DC-DC converter is lower than a constant current value in a voltage drooping state of the power supply device. The DC-DC converter is shifted to an operation state to supply a charging current of the constant current value to a charging target when a voltage value of a direct current voltage that is output from the power supply device reaches a maximum output voltage value or an approximate value thereof. Therefore, the charging target can be charged to a higher voltage even though a charging voltage of the charging target is low.

Abstract: A foreign substance detection device for limiting deterioration in accuracy of foreign substance detection even if a foreign substance detection region changes. Abstract: A power supply device includes a transformer, a rectification smoothing circuit having positive and negative output ends that rectifies and smoothes an induced voltage at a secondary winding of the transformer so as to generate a direct current voltage between positive and negative output terminals, a serial connection terminal to which another power supply device is connectable and is connected to the positive output end, the negative output terminal is connected to the negative output end, the reverse flow prevention rectifying device is connected between the positive output end and the positive output terminal, its forward direction faces toward the positive output terminal, and the bypass rectifying device is connected between the positive output end and the negative output end, its forward direction faces toward the positive output end.
