Abstract: A coil component includes an element body, a coil, a first terminal electrode, and a second terminal electrode. The coil has a coil axis extending in a direction in which a pair of side surfaces face each other. The first terminal electrode and the second terminal electrode have first electrode portions exposed on end surfaces and second electrode portions exposed on a main surface, respectively, and are not exposed on each of the pair of side surfaces.
