    摘要: An image processing device includes a drive unit connected with an ultrasound element or an image sensor element, and an image processing unit that sequentially generates two-dimensional images of an organ, a blood vessel, or a medical instrument, based on information which is acquired by the ultrasound element or the image sensor element, and that generates a three-dimensional image based on the two-dimensional image. The image processing unit includes a storage unit that stores position correspondence information and/or image correspondence information, and a control unit that determines a position inside the three-dimensional image corresponding to a current position of the ultrasound element or the image sensor element, based on the position correspondence information or the image correspondence information, and that generates display information in real time, in which the determined position inside the three-dimensional image is identified and displayed inside the three-dimensional image.

    摘要: A medical instrument is disclosed for crushing a thrombus present in a pulmonary artery of a living body by an ultrasonic vibration. The medical instrument includes an elongated main body section capable of being inserted into an airway of the living body, and an ultrasonic oscillation section which can be inserted into the living body by the main body section and which oscillates the ultrasonic vibration inside the living body. By the medical instrument, a thrombus present in a pulmonary artery can be rapidly crushed, whereby a therapeutic effect on pulmonary embolism can be obtained.

The treatment device can include an optical fiber having an emitting part that emits laser light from a side circumferential surface. Two or more grooves are provided in the emitting part at places different in a longitudinal direction of the emitting part. The two or more grooves have two or more kinds of shapes and intensities of the laser light emitted from the grooves adjacent to each other are different. A maximum region of intensity of the laser light emitted from the emitting part is located on one end side relative to a center position in the longitudinal direction of the emitting part. The intensity of the laser light emitted from the emitting part on the other end side of the emitting part relative to a position of the maximum region decreases toward the other end side.

    摘要: A laser light irradiation device is disclosed, which can include an optical guide having a columnar portion and transmitting laser light through the columnar portion; a reflecting portion having a reflecting surface that reflects the laser light transmitted through the optical guide; and a transmitting portion having a window part and disposed between the columnar portion of the optical guide and the reflecting portion in such a manner that one end of the transmitting portion is in contact with the columnar portion, the transmitting portion transmitting the laser light emitted from the columnar portion to the reflecting portion and transmitting the laser light reflected by the reflecting surface to cause the laser light to be radiated to an external through the window part. A diameter of the reflecting surface gradually becomes smaller as distance from a boundary between the transmitting portion and the reflecting portion increases.
