Abstract: The present invention is directed to a flex pack wipes dispensers for dispensing wipes. An exemplary wipes dispenser may include a flexible container body having an opening through which the wipes are dispensed. A plurality of wipes (e.g., a stack) is contained in the flexible container body. A closure is provided over the opening through the flexible container body, configured to allow a user to selectively open and close access to the opening. The closure may include a perimeter flange sealed to the flexible container body, a base defined within the flange which initially covers the opening in the flexible container body, and a tear-away orifice covering in the base. A shape of the covering includes a perimeter following a pathway that includes a portion forming an angle that is greater than 90° relative to a direction of pull used to tear the covering from the base.

Abstract: The invention relates to applicators for applying a solution or other composition (e.g., an antiseptic composition) to skin of a patient. The applicator may include a container body having a proximal end, a distal end, and a frangible member disposed at the distal end of the body. The applicator includes a first position where the container body and frangible member are a unitary piece (e.g., blow molded as a single piece), and a second position when the frangible member is rotated relative to the body to irreversibly break a weak point therebetween, releasing the composition in the hollow body through an opening. A porous applicator head may be positioned adjacent the distal end of the body and frangible member, so that the composition flows out the body, through the opening, and onto the head. The applicator may be formed in a blow-fill-seal process for improved sterility and ease of manufacture.

Abstract: An all-in-one cleaning device, e.g., such as may be used in cleaning the inside of a shower. The device may provide the ability to dispense a cleaning composition carried within the device itself, and scrub the cleaning composition onto or into the surfaces to be cleaned (e.g., shower walls, floors, corners, mirrors, etc.). The device may include a squeezable container housing holding the cleaning composition in a reservoir defined therein, with a dispensing valve configured to dispense the cleaning composition from the reservoir, through the valve when a user squeezes the container housing. A sled may be provided, e.g., snap-fit to a bottom wall of the container housing, with a substrate configured as a scrubbing pad attached to the bottom of the sled.
