Abstract: A scanning apparatus includes a scanner configured to move a scanning spot along a movement path to capture three-dimensional information of a target object. The movement path includes a plurality of b-scan paths performed along a c-scan path. The scanning apparatus also includes a processing circuit configured as a controller to control the movement path of the scanning spot. An area of the target object covered by the movement path may be independent of a length of the b-scan path. The processing circuit may be configured as an analyzer configured to determine a saturation time for each three-dimensional position within a portion of the target object based on an inter-scan time.

Abstract: An optical coherence tomography (OCT) apparatus according to an embodiment is configured to split light from a light source into measurement light and reference light, project the measurement light on an object, and detect interference light generated from the reference light and the measurement light returning from the object. The OCT apparatus includes a dispersion unit and an information generation unit. The dispersion unit is configured to relatively change a dispersion characteristic of a measurement optical path which is an optical path of the measurement light and a dispersion characteristic of a reference optical path which is an optical path of the reference light, according to an operation mode corresponding to a depth range. The information generation unit is configured to generate information on the object according to the operation mode, based on a detection result of the interference light.

Abstract: An ophthalmologic information processing apparatus according to the embodiments includes a search unit, a correction unit, and a display control unit. The search unit is configured to search for filter information for correcting an aberration in complex OCT data of a subject's eye so that a quality of the complex OCT data becomes a predetermined level. The correction unit is configured to correct the aberration in the complex OCT data based on the filter information searched by the search unit. The display control unit is configured to display, on a display means, aberration information on a pupil surface of the subject's eye corresponding to the filter information searched by the search unit.

Abstract: An ophthalmological imaging device includes illumination optics having an illumination light source that outputs an illumination light, a scanner that redirects the illumination light toward a portion of an object to be imaged, and an optical image capture device including a camera that receives backscattered light that is scattered from the illumination light by the object and captures first and second images of the backscattered light. The device also includes a control processor that controls the scanner and the optical image capture device to cause the optical image capture device to capture the first and second images of the object. The first and second images are captured by the camera at different times and extracted from different portions of the backscattered light. The device also includes an image processor that generates a stereoscopic image from the first and second images of the object.

The controller is configured to control the image sensor to set an opening range so as to overlap an illumination range of the returning light on the light receiving surface corresponding to the illumination region and to capture a light receiving result obtained by a light receiving element in the set opening range.

Abstract: In a scanning imaging apparatus of some aspect examples, a scanner applies an optical scan to a sample to acquire data. A scan controller controls the scanner to sequentially apply, to the sample, pattern scans according to a two-dimensional pattern including cycles. A movement unit relatively moves a scan area corresponding to the two-dimensional pattern and the sample. A movement controller controls the movement unit such that cycles in first and second scans of the pattern scans cross each other. An image constructing unit constructs an image based on data acquired under controls performed by the scan controller and the movement controller. The scan controller and the movement controller perform controls of the scanner and the movement unit respectively such that first and second cycles in a pattern scan cross each other at least at one point.
