Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing a fire-extinguishing member, including steps of: preparing an adherend that has a surface to be treated; and forming a fire-extinguishing-agent-containing layer on the surface to be treated by a wet coating method to obtain a fire-extinguishing member that includes the adherend and the fire-extinguishing-agent-containing layer provided on the surface to be treated, wherein the fire-extinguishing-agent-containing layer contains a binder resin and a fire-extinguishing agent component that is combusted to generate an aerosol.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a fire extinguishing sheet which is used in places, facilities, devices, tools, structures and the like where a fire may break out, and which makes initial fire extinguishing possible. This fire extinguishing sheet contains at least a potassium compound as a fire extinguishing chemical that is thermally decomposed upon reaching a predetermined temperature and generates a fire extinguishing component; and this fire extinguishing sheet is arranged in places, facilities, devices, tools, structures and the like where a fire may break out. If a fire breaks out, aerosols containing potassium radicals (a potassium compound) are generated from the fire extinguishing sheet, and the chain of combustion is interrupted by a negative catalytic effect, thereby quickly extinguishing or suppressing the fire.

Abstract: A first layered product for extinguishing fire, including: a pair of substrates; and a fire-extinguishing agent-containing layer between the pair of substrates, the layer containing a fire-extinguishing agent component generating an aerosol, and a binder resin, in which a water vapor transmission rate the substrate is 12 g/m2/day or less, a second layered product, including: a fiber layer containing an organic fiber or an inorganic fiber having a high strength-heat resistance; and a resin layer, in which at least any one of the fiber layer and the resin layer contains a fire-extinguishing agent component generating an aerosol, or a third layered product, including: a pair of substrates; and a fire-extinguishing agent-containing layer between the pair of substrates, the layer containing a fire-extinguishing agent component generating an aerosol, and a binder resin, in which a water vapor transmission rate of the substrate is 15 g/m2/day or less.
