Abstract: Problem: To provide a flush toilet wherein anomalous sounds can be suppressed from occurring when flush water is spouted from the rim spout port together with air accumulated in the upper portion within the rim conduit, and quietness can be improved.Solution: The flush toilet of the present invention includes: a bowl portion 20 having a bowl-shaped waste receiving surface 14 and a rim portion 18 formed on a top edge of a waste receiving surface; a rim spout port 26 configured to spout flush water from the rim portion onto the bowl portion; a rim conduit 24 disposed in the rim portion extending from a rear side region of the bowl portion to the rim spout port; and a stirring portion 44 configured to agitate flush water which is supplied into the rim conduit 24.

Abstract: A flush toilet according to the present invention includes a bowl including a well portion, and a discharge trap conduit, the well portion includes a bottom wall formed above and in front of an inlet of the discharge trap conduit, a side wall formed to surround the bottom wall, and a connecting portion that connects an outer edge of the bottom wall and a lower edge of the side wall, the bottom wall of the well portion includes an inclined portion, and guiding portions that are formed on left and right outer sides of the inclined portion and that guide flush water or waste from front toward the inlet of the discharge trap conduit, and the inclined portion, in a side cross-sectional view, is entirely formed into an upwardly convex shape and formed to be inclined downward from front toward the inlet of the discharge trap conduit.

Abstract: Disclosed is a flush toilet which comprises: a bowl portion having a waste-receiving surface and a rim provided along an upper edge of the waste-receiving surface; a drain trap conduit connected to the bowl portion to drain waste therethrough; a rim spout section including a rim spout port provided in a part of the rim located in a front region of the bowl portion for spouting the flush water, and a rim water-conducting passage provided to conduct flush water to the rim spout port; and a first water-conducting hose for supplying the flush water to the rim water-conducting passage located in the front region of the bowl portion, via beneath the waste-receiving surface, wherein the first water-conducting hose is configured to enable flush water to remain thereinside during stop of supply of the flush water.

Abstract: In detection of a test substance including a biomolecule by utilizing photocurrent detection of dye sensitization, disclosed is a detection method in which process of the photocurrent detection is carried out by using an electrolyte solution not necessarily requiring an organic solvent. By making the electrolyte medium an aqueous system not containing an organic solvent, not only its usability can be enhanced but also measurement values with less dispersion can be obtained. Therefore, detection of the test substance including a biomolecule by utilizing the photocurrent detection of dye sensitization according to the present invention is characterized by that the processes from a reaction process of a test substance till detection of the photocurrent are carried out in a single apparatus, and that process of the photocurrent detection is carried out by using an electrolyte solution not necessarily requiring an aprotic solvent.

Abstract: A flush toilet has a reservoir tank, a toilet main unit, a water supply apparatus, a water discharge apparatus, and a control device for controlling flushing of the bowl portion of the toilet main unit; wherein this control device includes a time measurement device for measuring the time after the water discharge apparatus has been driven for a predetermined time to discharge flush water, until the water level rises from a dead water level inside the reservoir tank with the water discharge apparatus in an off state to a predetermined stopped water level prior to start of flush; and the driving time of the water discharge apparatus responsive to pressure losses in the toilet main unit is adjusted by comparing the water level rise time measured by the time measurement device with the water level rise time in a standard toilet.
