    Abstract: A method is disclosed for producing a flexographic printing plate from a flexographic printing original plate provided with a photosensitive resin layer comprising a photosensitive resin composition containing at least (A) a hydrophobic polymer comprising a water-dispersible latex, (B) a photopolymerizable compound and (C) a photopolymerization initiator, wherein the method comprises a main exposure step, a development step and a post-exposure step, characterized in that a treatment solution containing a first amino-modified silicone having an amine equivalent of 1000 g/mol or less and a second amino-modified silicone having an amine equivalent of 3000 g/mol or more in a mass ratio of from 2.5:1 to 1:6 is contacted with the whole surface of the flexographic printing plate.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a laser-engravable flexographic printing original plate in which an increase in time required for entire surface curing is suppressed while benefiting from a decrease in plate surface tackiness due to blending of the silicone compound. A laser-engravable flexographic printing original plate obtained by irradiating a molded product made of a photosensitive resin composition with light so as to cross-link and cure the molded product, in which the photosensitive resin composition contains a water-dispersible latex, a photopolymerizable unsaturated compound, a photopolymerization initiator, and a silicone compound having an amino group in the molecule. When the water-dispersible latex is selected from polybutadiene rubber and poly(nitrile-butadiene) rubber, the silicone compound has a refractive index of 1.44 to 1.60. When the water-dispersible latex is poly(styrene-butadiene) rubber, the silicone compound has a refractive index of 1.47 to 1.63.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a flexographic printing plate in which the dot gain of fine dots in a fade-out part is reduced and printability is improved. A flexographic printing plate obtained from a flexographic printing plate precursor comprising at least a support (A), a photosensitive resin layer (B) and a heat-sensitive mask layer (C) which are laminated in this order, characterized in that, when dots each having a diameter of 16 μm are formed at 175 lpi on the printing plate, the dots do not buckle until a load of 0.2 N is applied thereto. Preferably, when dots each having a diameter of 16 μm are formed at 175 lpi on the printing plate, the shoulder angle of each dot is 105 to 125° and the dot depth is 70 to 85 μm.

    Abstract: The present invention aims to provide a flexographic printing original plate which exhibits improved sustainability of the ability of preventing the plate surface from staining. According to the present invention, there is provided a water-developable flexographic printing original plate including at least a support and a photosensitive resin layer provided on the support, in which the photosensitive resin layer contains a water-dispersible latex, a photopolymerizable unsaturated compound, a photopolymerization initiator, and a silicone compound. When the water-dispersible latex is one or more latex rubbers selected from the group consisting of polybutadiene rubber and poly(nitrile-butadiene) rubber, the silicone compound is a silicone compound having an amino group in the molecule and has a refractive index of 1.44 to 1.60. When the water-dispersible latex is poly(styrene-butadiene) rubber, the silicone compound is a silicone compound having an amino group in the molecule and has a refractive index of 1.47 to 1.63.
