Abstract: To provide a decorative panel that expresses a deep jet-black color represented by Japanese lacquer or the like. Provided are: a base member; a black-colored layer provided on the base member; and a laminate provided on the black-colored layer, the laminate having a plurality of transparent layers having different refractive indexes such that the plurality of transparent layers are layered. The refractive indexes of the transparent layers in the laminate are increased in order toward the base member.

Abstract: A box apparatus for vehicles is disposed to a side of a seat and includes: a box having an internal space having an opening facing upward; and a lid having a lid body and a pivotal shaft integrated with the lid body and pivotally supported relative to the box, configured to open and close the opening of the box, and positionally changed between a closed position where the lid body is disposed above the box and closes the opening, and an opened position where the lid body is disposed at a side of the box and opens the opening. The lid body has an opened-position upper-surface portion becoming an upper surface at the opened position and a closed-position upper-surface portion becoming an upper surface at the closed position and becoming a side surface at the opened position, and a heating element is disposed at the opened-position and closed-position upper-surface portions.

Abstract: An air bag mounting interior trim that efficiently pressurizes and welds ribs of a retainer and an instrument panel includes: a retainer having a first wall portion disposed at a deployment side of the air bag; and a panel having a second wall portion opposed to the first wall portion, at the deployment side of the first wall portion. The first and second wall portions each have an inclined face inclined in a pressurizing direction at assembly of the retainer and the panel. The retainer has a first rib protruding along the pressurizing direction from the inclined face of the first wall portion toward the panel side. The panel has a second rib protruding along the pressurizing direction from the inclined face of the second wall portion toward the retainer side. The first and second ribs have weld end faces that face each other in parallel, and that are aligned with the pressurizing direction.

Abstract: Provided is a novel heating system for an electric vehicle.
A heating system for a vehicle compartment includes: a heat source storage chamber disposed below a vehicle compartment floor of an electric vehicle and configured to store at least one heat source element unit selected from an automotive battery, a motor, a converter, and an inverter; and a connection chamber configured to connect between the heat source storage chamber and the vehicle compartment. A heat exchange medium flows in the heat source storage chamber and the connection chamber. The heat source element unit and air in the vehicle compartment exchange heat with each other through the heat exchange medium.
