Abstract: An opening and closing mechanism of a double opening storage device including a box main body and a lid body includes a rod and an engagement hole corresponding to a first rotating shaft, a rod and an engagement hole corresponding to a second rotating shaft, first and second biasing members that engage the rods with the engagement holes, first and second operation units that displace the rods in an engagement-releasing direction by an opening operation, and a malfunction prevention device that prevents the opening operation of the first operation unit and the second operation unit from being performed at the same time. The malfunction prevention device includes a base member, first and second stoppers that are respectively rotatable around a first shaft and a second shaft with respect to the base member, and a spring member which is interposed between the first and second stoppers.

Abstract: An opening/closing mechanism of a double opening console box includes right and left operation portions for opening a lid around a left or right rotation shaft, and an erroneous operation preventing device for preventing simultaneous right and left opening actions of the lid. The erroneous operation preventing device includes a center projecting portion provided to the lid, an erroneous operation prevention bar movable leftward/rightward relative to the lid, a centering component having a left-right-symmetric recess groove at a front end, and a spring member energizing the centering component in the front-rear direction relative to the erroneous operation prevention bar so that the center projecting portion is located at the rear end bottom of the recess groove. The erroneous operation prevention bar includes a centering accommodating portion storing the centering component such that frontward/rearward movement thereof relative to the erroneous operation prevention bar is allowed and leftward/rightward movement is prohibited.

Abstract: Provided are a method for molding a foamed resin molded article having a mounting hole which is formed with good dimensional precision without occurrence of shape sag and which has an improved load resistance, a mold therefor, and a foamed resin molded article thereby. A method for molding a foamed resin molded article 1 including a mounting section 11 and a non-mounting section 12, using a mold 3 including a first mold 31 having a non-mounting-section mold portion 31a and a mounting-section mold portion 31b, a second mold 32, and a cavity 4 having a non-mounting-section cavity portion 42 for molding the non-mounting section 12 and a mounting-section cavity portion 41 for molding the mounting section 11. The method includes: a filling step of filling a material to be molded into at least the mounting-section cavity portion 41; and a core-back step of moving at least one of the non-mounting-section mold portion 31a, the mounting-section mold portion 31b, and the second mold 32 so that a cavity width of the non-mounting-section cavity portion 42 is increased while a cavity width of the mounting-section cavity portion 41 is constant, the filling step and the core-back step being sequentially performed.
