Abstract: Provided are a method for molding a foamed resin molded article having a mounting hole which is formed with good dimensional precision without occurrence of shape sag and which has an improved load resistance, a mold therefor, and a foamed resin molded article thereby. A method for molding a foamed resin molded article 1 including a mounting section 11 and a non-mounting section 12, using a mold 3 including a first mold 31 having a non-mounting-section mold portion 31a and a mounting-section mold portion 31b, a second mold 32, and a cavity 4 having a non-mounting-section cavity portion 42 for molding the non-mounting section 12 and a mounting-section cavity portion 41 for molding the mounting section 11. The method includes: a filling step of filling a material to be molded into at least the mounting-section cavity portion 41; and a core-back step of moving at least one of the non-mounting-section mold portion 31a, the mounting-section mold portion 31b, and the second mold 32 so that a cavity width of the non-mounting-section cavity portion 42 is increased while a cavity width of the mounting-section cavity portion 41 is constant, the filling step and the core-back step being sequentially performed.

Abstract: An air-conditioning register includes: a movable fin; an operation knob; and a transmission mechanism. A load generating mechanism is provided in a middle of a force transmission path in the transmission mechanism. The load generating mechanism includes a pressure receiving portion, a pressing member, and a spring. The pressure receiving portion has a pressure receiving surface. The pressing member rotates with respect to the pressure receiving portion as the operation knob rotates. The spring generates a load between the pressing member and the pressure receiving portion by urging the pressing member toward a side approaching the pressure receiving surface and pressing the pressing member against the pressure receiving surface. The pressing member and the pressure receiving portion are each formed of a hard resin material, and the pressing member is directly in contact with the pressure receiving surface to generate the load.

Abstract: An air-conditioning register fin includes an elongated plate-shaped fin main body and an elongated decorative member attached to one of edges of the fin main body in a transverse direction. One of the fin main body and the decorative member includes an engagement projection. The other one of the fin main body and the decorative member includes a recess that accommodates the engagement projection and an engagement hook projecting from an inner surface of the recess. The engagement hook holds and engages the engagement projection.

Abstract: A dual swing lid mechanism includes a base section and a lid openable and closable with respect to the base section. The lid includes a lid main body section, an arm section, a first supporting shaft, and a second supporting shaft. The lid main body section has a lock mechanism including a first rod engageable with the arm section and a second rod engageable with the base section. The lid changes among a closed state; a first opened state of opening a containing section with the first supporting shaft as a center; and a second opened state of opening the containing section with the second supporting shaft as the center. The first rod engages with the arm section in the closed state and the first opened state and disengages from the arm section in the second opened state. The second rod engages with the base section in the closed state and the second opened state and disengages from the base section in the first opened state.
