摘要: A vehicle seat includes a slide rail. A cap provided in a lower rail or an upper rail integrally includes a base portion adjacent to a longitudinal rear end of the lower rail or the upper rail provided with the cap, and a first deformation prevention portion extending into a space from the base portion toward a longitudinal center of the lower rail or the upper rail provided with the cap, the first deformation prevention portion being provided between the pair of side face portions within the space so as to restrain deformation of the rail. When the upper rail is placed in a rearmost position within a slidable range, the first deformation prevention portion is placed in vicinity to the rear end of the lower rail.

The clearance is provided between the input operating member and the output operating member. The initial position is set by maintaining the clearance between the input operating member and the output operating member using an urging force of the second urging member. The second urging member includes a first support portion, a second support portion, and a first engagement portion.

摘要: A vehicle seat includes: a slide rail; and a slide lock mechanism. The slide lock mechanism includes a locking member and an operating member; the locking member includes a first biasing member that maintains the slide lock state of the locking member in an elastically biasing manner; the operating member includes a second biasing member to bias the operating member to an initial position in which an operation of the operating member is not started; a biasing force of the first biasing member is set larger than that of the second biasing member; and a clearance is set for the operating member between the initial position and an operation position in which the release control force is applied thereto against the biasing forces of the first biasing member and the second biasing member so that the slide lock state of the locking member is released.
