Abstract: A positive electrode material according to the present disclosure includes a mixture of a positive electrode active material, a solid electrolyte, and a conductive material. The conductive material includes a first conductive material having an average long-axis diameter of 1 μm or more and a second conductive material having an average particle diameter of more than 23 nm and 100 nm or less. A ratio of a volume of the positive electrode active material to a sum of the volume of the positive electrode active material and a volume of the solid electrolyte is 50% or more and 90% or less. A battery according to the present disclosure includes a positive electrode including the positive electrode material, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte layer disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode.

Abstract: In a method for producing a coated active material, a coating layer containing Nb is formed on at least a part of a surface of an active material. The method includes: transforming a slurry containing the active material and a coating solution containing Nb into droplets to obtain slurry droplets; drying the slurry droplets in a heated gas stream to obtain a precursor; and baking the precursor. When obtaining the slurry droplets, a temperature of the slurry before the slurry is transformed into droplets is 5° C. or more and less than 25° C.
