    摘要: The present disclosure relates to an optical fiber alignment device that has an alignment housing that includes first and second ends. The alignment housing defines a fiber insertion axis that extends through the alignment housing between the first and second ends. The alignment housing includes a fiber alignment region at an intermediate location between the first and second ends. First and second fiber alignment rods are positioned within the alignment housing. The first and second fiber alignment rods cooperate to define a fiber alignment groove that extends along the fiber insertion axis. The first and second fiber alignment rods each having rounded ends positioned at the first and second ends of the alignment housing.

    摘要: A single-piece multi-fiber ferrule interconnect assembly including a ferrule body having a main surface, a front frame, and a rear opening, wherein the front frame includes a front face and a back face; a plurality of lenses arranged to form a lens array, wherein the lenses are fabricated within the front frame and recessed from the front face; a plurality of grooves on the main surface for receiving a plurality of optical fibers, the grooves extending from the back face toward the rear opening, wherein each groove comprises a terminus located at the focal point of a corresponding lens on the front frame; a well located on the main surface along the back face of the front frame, wherein inside edges of the well are curved and wherein the well is capable of accommodating an epoxy; and a plurality of guide pin passageways on the ferrule body each having a pin aperture for receiving alignment pins from a complementary ferrule body, wherein the pin aperture and the alignment pin from the complementary ferrule body align the ferrule front faces such that ends of the optical fibers align.

    摘要: Organizer tray including a base wall and a receiving wall that is coupled to the base wall. The base and receiving walls extend parallel to each other along a lateral axis. The receiving wall extends away from the base wall along an elevation axis that is perpendicular to the lateral axis such that the base and receiving walls define a circuit channel. The receiving wall has a curved shape. The base and receiving walls are shaped to hold a flex circuit assembly within the circuit channel, in which the flex circuit assembly includes a fiber-routing substrate and corresponding segments of optical fibers that extend within the fiber-routing substrate. The base and receiving walls are configured to hold the fiber-routing substrate such that the fiber-routing substrate satisfies a bend radius of the optical fibers.
