    摘要： A system for transmitting an image information signal which continuously forms a temporally correlated group of image planes is arranged to divide each image plane portion of the image information signal into a plurality of blocks; to have a plurality of different information transmitting modes of transmitting the image information signal in different degrees of information density including a mode in which a present image plane portion of the image information signal is not transmitted; to form a transmitting information signal on the basis of applicable one of the plurality of the different information transmitting modes; to generate for each of the blocks a transmitting mode signal including information indicating use or nonuse of the information transmitting mode in which the present image plane portion of the image information signal is not transmitted; and to transmit the transmitting information signal and the transmitting mode signal in a multiplexing manner.

    摘要： A system for transmitting information signal in which a temporally correlated group of image planes are continuously formed comprises: dividing means which divides the information signal into separate image planes and further divides each image plane portion of the signal into a plurality of blocks; first transmitting means for transmitting in a first degree of information density the first of the plurality of blocks obtained from the dividing means; second transmitting means for transmitting in a second degree of information density the second of the plurality of divided blocks obtained from the dividing means; and transmission inhibiting means for inhibiting transmission of the third of the plurality of divided blocks obtained from the dividing means by dividing a present image plane portion of the information signal.

    摘要： An image information signal transmitting system of this invention is a system which divides an image information signal for one picture constituted by a set of picture element data into blocks each constituted by a predetermined quantity of picture element data, transmits the picture element data on each of the blocks on the basis of a mode selected from among a plurality of transmission modes each of which allows a different quantity of picture element data to be transmitted and a mode information signal indicative of the transmission mode of each of the blocks, and restores the picture element data on each of the blocks to the original image information signal. The system is arranged to store the transmitted picture element data, read out the stored picture element data at a data readout rate of one kind which is selected from among a plurality of different data readout rates and which corresponds to the kind of transmission mode indicated by the transmitted mode information signal, and implement a data restoring processing on the picture element data thus read on the basis of a data restoring processing of one kind which is selected from among a plurality of different data restoring processings and which corresponds to the kind of transmission mode indicated by the transmitted mode information signal. With this arrangement, it is possible to realize reductions in the size, weight and cost of the apparatus without deteriorating an image information signal to be transmitted.

    摘要： An image information signal transmitting system according to the present invention is structured in such a manner that an image information signal composed of a plurality of picture element data corresponding to one picture is stored in units of blocks each of which is composed of a predetermined number of picture element data, the image information signal composed of a plurality of picture element data corresponding to one picture is divided into the blocks, and picture element data is extracted from the thus-divided blocks by a number smaller than the number of picture element data forming the block, and the extracted picture element is stored in units of corresponding blocks. Furthermore, the image information signal composed of a plurality of picture element data corresponding to one picture is divided into the blocks, and a transmission mode for the picture element data forming each of the blocks is determined among a plurality of transmission modes having different numbers of picture element data transmitted, a reading address which corresponds to a block determined to be transmitted in a transmission mode having the greatest number of picture element data transmitted, discrimination data for discriminating an address corresponding to an end portion in each horizontal line direction of a picture from other reading addresses is generated, and stored picture element data is read out so that image information signals can be stably transmitted without any deterioration in the image quality.
