    摘要: In a thermal activation method for a heat-sensitive adhesive sheet 2 which has a heat-sensitive adhesive layer 2a on one surface thereof and is to be stuck to an adherend 1, when a surface roughness of the adherend 1 is large, by heating the heat-sensitive adhesive layer 2a with large thermal energy, an adhesive is allowed to easily enter recesses 1a of the adherend. When the surface roughness of the adherend 1 is small, by heating the heat-sensitive adhesive layer 2a with small thermal energy, a viscosity of the adhesive is increased to thereby prevent the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet 2 from sliding and being peeled. The surface roughnesses of the adherends 1 may be classified for each material of the adherends 1, and the classified surface roughnesses may be judged according to each material of the adherends 1 to thereby determine the thermal energy.

    摘要: When first print information is input, a print length thereof is calculated so as to calculate a length of a double-sided printed material 1 to be finally produced. Then, print information blocks 2 to be printed on a back surface of the recording medium is selected. The print information blocks 2 are selected according to a priority thereof, and a single print information block 2 to be selected last is selected, based on the length of the double-sided printed material, so that all the margins have the same length within a predetermined allowable range when the selected print information blocks 2 are sequentially arranged to be printed on the back surface. After the second print information is thus determined, the first print information is printed on the front surface of the recording medium and is cut by a cutter unit, and then the second print information is printed on the back surface thereof.

    摘要: An apparatus for thermally activating a heat-sensitive adhesive sheet of the type having a printable surface on one side, a heat-sensitive adhesive layer on the other side and sheet identifying information including information concerning one or more properties of the adhesive used in the adhesive layer, comprises an energizeable heating unit for heating the heat-sensitive adhesive layer to activate the same, a reading sensor for reading the sheet identifying information, and a control section for controlling energy applied to the heating unit on the basis of the sheet identifying information read by the reading sensor. The control section controls the energy applied to the heating unit by keeping the amplitude of applied voltage pulses constant and varying the pulse width. An ambient-temperature measuring sensor measures temperature in the vicinity of the heating unit and the control section controls the energy applied to the heating unit on the basis of the temperature measured by the ambient-temperature measuring sensor.
