摘要： An apparatus for transporting yarn packages wound on cylindrical tubes from a process where the yarn packages are produced by textile machines to a subsequent process without touching any yarn layer thereof. A conveyer belt is disposed along the lengthwise direction of the above-mentioned textile machine so as to receive the yarn packages from the textile machine and the yarn packages are received by respective receiving rods which are utilized for carrying the yarn packages to the subsequent process. An auxiliary device for regulating the lengthwise direction of the tube of each yarn package in a condition of alignment with the receiving rod is disposed between the conveyer belt and the position where the receiving rod is capable of receiving the yarn package.

摘要： A yarn package transportation vehicle comprises a turnable table having a plurality of cylindrical containers arranged in circle thereon. Yarn packages produced by a spinning machinery are canistered in the containers. The vehicle is positioned adjacent to one end of the spinning machinery so that one of the canisters is set in a canistering position in which the canister receives the yarn packages therein. When one container is fully loaded with the yarn packages, adjacent container is readily brought into the canistering position by turning the table a predetermined angle.

摘要： In a textile machine provided with displaceable means for carrying out an operation utilizing air pressure, a main duct is disposed along the length of the machine, and the main duct is provided with a longitudinal aperture covered with a flexible covering member which permits formation of a space by deforming the skirt portion of the covering member. A connecting pipe of the displaceable means is inserted into the main duct through the space and the connecting portion is sealed by a sealing member secured to the pipe during the displacement of the displaceable means.

摘要： Apparatus for handling yarn ends during a donning operation on a textile machine wherein in each operation unit, a yarn package is formed on a bobbin rotatably held by a cradle and rotated by the friction roller of a take-up mechanism. Just before or after doffing a full yarn package from the take-up mechanism, a yarn passage is formed by a yarn which is continuously supplied from the operation unit at a position in front of a part of the peripheral surface of the friction roller which the yarn passes over during the normal take-up operation. A fresh bobbin urges the yarn of the yarn passage toward the friction roller and then the fresh bobbin held by the cradle is rested on the friction roller. The yarn connected to the full yarn package is severed during the operation.

摘要： Provided is a manufacturing method to prevent devitrification of a bulb in a high pressure discharge lamp used for a projector. The method is for manufacturing a high pressure discharge lamp which uses, as a light source, a bulb made of fused quartz and including a tungsten electrode, and which is horizontally installed when the lamp is driven for actual use. The method includes the step of initially driving the bulb with an optical axis thereof being set horizontally before the high pressure discharge lamp is shipped. In the initial driving step, the rotation angle around the optical axis of the bulb is offset by 45° or more and 135° or less relative to the rotation angle around the optical axis of the bulb when the lamp is driven for actual use.

摘要： A flux-contained welding wire is provided wherein a conductive core wire can be disposed without any complicate manufacturing steps performed on a metal outer layer. Flux is filled inside of the metal outer layer. The conductive core wire is disposed nearly in the center of the flux without being supported by the metal outer layer. The flux contains 20-80 weight % of metal powder. A weight % of the weight of the flux to the weight of the welding wire per unit length is set in a range of 6.5-30 weight %. The weight % of the weight of the conductive core wire to the weight of the welding wire per unit length is set in a range of 1.5-15 weight %.

摘要： A seat for use in a vehicle such as an automobile is disclosed which comprises a cushion member formed of foam material, a top member for covering the cushion member and a plurality of hanger members. In this seat, the top surface of the top member and the upper portion of the cushion member are respectively divided into a central portion and side portions independently of each other. A partition cloth is provided between the central and side portions of the top member and is then inserted within a cut groove separating the central and side portions of the cushion member from each other. After then, the hanger member is used to pull the inserted partition cloth and thus the top surface of the top member into their respective desired positions. With this structure, when an occupant is seated on the central portion of the seat, it is ensured that such a load applied to the central portion of the seat by the occupant will not have a deterimental effect on the peripheral or side portions of the seat.
