摘要: The present invention provides a conductive roller whose outermost layer is made of a vulcanized rubber composition. The vulcanized rubber composition contains epichlorohydrin rubber and chloroprene rubber as a rubber component thereof and 0.2 to 5 parts by mass of each of a thiourea-based vulcanizing agent and a vulcanization retarder consisting of N-(cyclohexylthio)phthalimide for 100 parts by mass of the rubber component.

摘要: A semiconductive rubber roller comprising a toner-transporting portion whose outermost layer is formed essentially of vulcanized rubber containing 0.1 to 30 parts by mass of a phthalocyanine compound for 100 parts by mass of the vulcanized rubber. An electric resistance value of the semiconductive rubber roller which is measured at a temperature of 23° C. and a humidity of 55% is in a range of 103 to 109Ω, when a voltage of 100V is applied thereto.

摘要: A conductive roller comprising a toner-transporting portion, made of a vulcanized rubber composition, which is disposed at least on an outermost layer thereof. The vulcanized rubber composition contains a rubber component (A) mixed with a weakly conductive carbon black (B) having a large particle diameter not less than 80 nm nor more than 500 nm, a highly conductive carbon black (C) having a small particle diameter not less than 18 nm nor more than 80 nm, and an inorganic filler (D) consisting of not less than one kind of a metal oxide selected from among a group of titanium oxide, alumina, and silica. The total of a mixing amount of the weakly conductive carbon black (B), that of the highly conductive carbon black (C), and that of the inorganic filler (D) for 100 parts by mass of the rubber component (A) is not less than 15 parts by mass nor more than 60 parts by mass.

摘要: The present invention provides a method for recycling a spent image-forming member mounted inside an image-forming apparatus to reuse the image-forming member. In the method, the image-forming member is made of an elastomer before the image-forming member is recycled; and when a recycling work is performed, a surface of the image-forming member is not abraded, but irradiated with ultraviolet rays or ozone at least once to decompose or/and deteriorate a deposit which has attached to the surface thereof in a use thereof so that the deposit is removed from the surface thereof.
