摘要: An absorption refrigerator which is capable of effectively using energy without a necessity of enlarging the size thereof, the absorption refrigerator having a structure that a cylindrical wall is provided for an inner wall portion raised because of a stepped portion of the bottom surface of a double-tube unit so that a refrigerant retainer for accumulating water allowed to downwards flow along the outer surface of a cold-water tube is formed. A refrigerant-circulating passage is connected to the bottom surface of the refrigerant retainer. Another end of the refrigerant-circulating passage is connected to a refrigerant supply passage. When a pump is operated, water in the refrigerant retainer is supplied to a water-receiving pan so as to again be sprayed to the outer surface of the cold-water tube.

摘要: Whenever necessary, an operation for diluting an absorbing solution after the stop of the operation is unlimitedly enabled without increasing the size of an absorption refrigerating machine. For the dilution operation after the operation of the absorption refrigerating machine, a pipe line of a dilute solution circulating pipe KD is opened by a dilution valve VD. Thereby, a solution pump P1 and an absorber A can be directly connected through a circulating pipe K6. The operation of the solution pump allows circulating a low-concentration solution and facilitates the dilution of a high-concentration solution to a low concentration. Since this case has nothing to do with a pressure difference in a path, the dilution operation can be performed whenever necessary. Moreover, since it is unnecessary to deal with a pressure loss, it is not necessary to increase the height of the apparatus. Thus, there are no increase in the space for installation and no rise in the cost of the apparatus due to the large-sized refrigerating machine. Moreover, since the solution pump used in the normal operation can be used for the dilution operation, an additional pump for the dilution operation only is not needed. The dilution operation can be therefore performed at low cost.

摘要: Lower and upper limit float switches 15a and 15b for detecting the liquid level in high-temperature separator 14, orifice portion 18 and float-associated valve V1 parallel to the orifice portion are provided, with the orifice portion being provided on circulation pipe K2 extending from the gas-liquid separator in a position either upstream or downstream of high-temperature heat exchanger 17. The float-associated valve is closed when the liquid level drops to the lower limit thereof and it is opened when the liquid level rises to the upper limit thereof. During normal operation of the cooling apparatus, the flowing of steam from the gas-liquid separator into the heat exchanging unit can be prevented to ensure smooth passage of the solution. In a diluting operation, the head of the gas-liquid separator suffices to ensure an adequate flow of the solution in spite of the small pressure difference, thereby assuring the diluting operation to proceed smoothly.

摘要: Dual pipe unit 40 is erected vertically and comprises cold water pipe 41 serving as a passageway of cold water and surrounded by coaxial outer pipe 42. The cold water pipe consists of evaporating pipe portion 41a sealed at the bottom and inner pipe portion 41b coaxially provided in its interior. The bottom of the inner pipe portion is open near the bottom of the evaporating pipe portion whereas its top penetrating the top of the evaporating pipe portion to project into the latter is fixed thereto in a liquid-tight manner. The cold water pipe penetrates the top of the outer pipe but it is fixed to the latter in a liquid-tight manner, with its bottom end being spaced from the bottom end of the outer pipe by a specified distance. Evaporating/absorbing compartment 43 is formed between the evaporating pipe and the outer pipe. The channel of cold water through the evaporating pipe portion is narrowed and the cold water collects toward its wall surface, flowing at an increased relative velocity. This contributes to enhance the efficiency of cooling the cold water.

摘要: Each of the water dispense pipes 46 in a dual pipe unit has nozzle 46a in an area starting just before the evaporating/absorbing compartment 43 and extending to its distal end. The nozzle 46a is a means by which the portion of the circulation pipe that is located upstream of the nozzle and which is exposed to elevated temperature is isolated from the evaporating/absorbing compartment filled with a low-temperature and pressure atmosphere. As a result, the streams of refrigerant water coming from the distributor 45 are suppressed by the nozzles at the distal ends of the individual water dispense pipes so that the liquid pressure becomes uniform among those distal ends, from which the refrigerant water is dispensed into the evaporating/absorbing compartment at a generally uniform pressure.

The overshoot/undershoot prevention device is provided with an overshoot shaping device that selects the portion of a waveform signal that equals or exceeds an overshoot determining potential when the potential of the waveform signal equals or exceeds the overshoot determining potential, outputs the selected portion as an overshoot waveform, attenuates the overshoot component of the waveform signal, and outputs the result as a shaped waveform in accordance with the time that the overshoot waveform continues. Also included is an undershoot shaping device that selects the portion of the waveform signal that equals or falls below an undershoot determining potential when the potential of the waveform signal equals or falls below the undershoot determining potential, outputs the sleeted portion as an undershoot waveform, attenuates the undershoot component of the waveform signal, and outputs the result as a shaped waveform in accordance with the time that the undershoot waveform continues.

摘要: When PMOS transistors are successively turned off, the resistance between a PMOS transistor and a power supply VDD is changed, and the amplitude of a waveform at the junction between the last-mentioned PMOS transistor and an NMOS transistor is controlled based on the changed resistance. Thereafter, a waveform output unit outputs a waveform whose harmonic components are made smaller from the junction between the PMOS transistor and the NMOS transistor.

摘要: There is provided a bus receiver including a first differential amplifier comparing an input signal to a first reference voltage, and transmitting a first pulse signal accordingly, a second differential amplifier comparing the input signal to a second reference voltage, and transmitting a second pulse signal accordingly, an exclusive OR circuit transmitting an exclusive OR pulse signal indicative of exclusive OR of the first and second pulse signals, a first flip-flop circuit receiving the exclusive OR pulse signal as clock, and receiving the second pulse signal as data, and a selector selecting one of the first and second pulse signals in accordance with an output of the first flip-flop circuit. The bus receiver readily eliminates noises. The bus receiver may further include a second flip-flop circuit receiving external clock as clock, and receiving an output of the selector as data. The provision of the second flip-flop circuit ensures that the bus receiver can be readily synchronized with other circuits electrically connected to the bus receiver and designed to operate under the same external clocks as those for the bus receiver.
