    摘要: An image forming method which can provides excellent cleaning property, no occurrence of unusual noise or curling of a blade, and a high quality image. The method includes forming a latent image on a cylindrical electrophotographic photoconductor including a mass additive therein; and developing the latent image with a developer comprising a toner, wherein the toner comprises a ratio (Dv50/Dp50) of a 50% volume particle size (Dv50) to a 50% number particle size (Dp50) of 1.0 to 1.15, a ratio (Dv75/Dp75) of a cumulative 75% volume particle size (Dv75) from a larger volume particle size to a cumulative 75% number particle size (Dp75) from a larger number particle size of 1.0 to 1.20, and the number of toner particles having a particle size of 0.7×(Dp50) or less in an amount of not greater than 10 number %.

    摘要: An electrostatic image forming method is disclosed. The photoreceptor containing an organic photosensitive material has a layer containing fine particles at the photoreceptor surface; toner has at least binder resin, coloring agent, and releasing agent made of polyolefines in which the ratio, Mz/Mn, is is 3-20, and Mz is 20,000-70,000 wherein Mz is Z-average molecular weight in terms of polypropylene and Mn is the number average molecular weight in terms of polypropylene. No offset phenomenon occurs, and a stable image having no fogging and no black-spots can be formed for a long period of time by the invention.

The photoreceptor is installed so that the center axis of the cylinder is to be almost horizontal, front edge of the cleaning blade is pressed against surface of the photoreceptor at the top, ratio of width of the photosensitive layer of the photoreceptor to length of the cylindrical electroconductive substrate is 80/100 to 99/100, and a number ratio of toner particles having a shape coefficient of 1.2 to 1.6 is at least 65 percent in the toner particles.

    摘要: Disclosed is an electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising an electrically conductive support and thereon formed a light-sensitive layer containing a carrier generation material, a carrier transport material and a binder resin, wherein said light-sensitive layer comprises a copolymer having a structural unit represented by Formula B.sub.1 and Formula B.sub.2 ; ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or an aryl group, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 may combine together to form a cyclic hydrocarbon residue having 4 to 10 carbon atoms, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, a cyclic hydrocarbon residue having 4 to 10 carbon atoms, or an aryl group, l, m, p and q independently represent an integer of 1 to 4. The electrophotographic photoreceptor has high sensitivity and high durability.
