摘要： CPU of a sheet processing apparatus reads a sheet by a scanner, stores the image of the sheet in an image memory, checks to determine whether expanding, reducing, rotating, synthesizing or other editing operations have been performed for the sheet image stored in the image memory and performs processing for converting the image to a recognizable size and rotating an image before recognizing the read sheet image when determining that editing has been performed. CPU further recognizes sheet ID information contained in the sheet image stored in the image memory by means of a character recognizing section, selects an unrecorded sheet image corresponding to the sheet ID information from a hard disk, stores the image in the image memory and prints out by way of a printer. Thus, sheets synthesized, expanded/reduced, rotated or edited in other ways can be recognized and high image quality of clean and unrecorded sheets can always be provided, thereby maintaining a good recognition rate.

摘要： Terminals, printing apparatus, and digital copying machines are connected to one network N. A document managing portion of the printing apparatus stores document data received through the network N to a document data storing portion, and generates managing data of document data so as to be stored in a document managing table. When an error processing portion detects the occurrence of an error with reference to a table during the printing of document data, an error processing portion determines the other printing apparatus for a substitutive printing with reference to various kinds of tables, and transmits document data. A report sheet issuing portion generates a report sheet image showing a name of a substitutive printing apparatus, a current state of the apparatus having an error, measures to remove the error, etc., and a printing portion prints the report sheet image.

摘要： In this invention, a digital copying machine to be connected to a network feeds originals in each document unit for each sheet by use of an ADF to read the images of the originals and prints the read images in each document unit for each page in a printing form selected by the user. Therefore, a plurality of original images read in each document unit can be effectively confirmed in accordance with the purpose of the user on the spot where the reading operation is effected. Further, the actual concentration can be adjusted while observing reduced images on the confirmation sheet and inputting of an actual image and inputting for correction can be easily attained. In a case where a specified page among a plurality of originals is scanned again, all of the originals are set on the original table of the ADF without extracting the specified page from the originals and the specified page can be scanned again. Therefore, the pages of the originals can be kept in order. Further, since only the necessary page is scanned, time can be saved. Therefore, specification of rescanning can be easily made and a sheaf of originals (document) can be kept as it is.
