摘要： A method and system for radio communication between at least one parent communication unit and a plurality of slave communication units. A slave communication unit transmits an automatic answer signal in response to an incomming call receipt signal transmitted from the parent communication unit. When one of the slave communication units makes a called-person's answer to the incomming call receipt signal, it transmits a called-person's answer signal. If interference occurs between the automatic and called-person's answer signals, the parent communication unit provides a command, causing the slave communication units to stop the automatic and called-person's answer signals and permits the slave communication unit which transmits the called-person's answer signal to communicate with the parent communication unit.

摘要： A communication channel is established between a master station and one of plural remote stations in a multi-channel access (MCA) cordless telephone system. Access data is transmitted from the master station to all of the remote stations, at the same time, to designate a selected remote station as a representative station. The access data also includes calling data which seeks a response from that representative station. In the absence of a response to the calling data from the previously designated representative station, the station identifying data is changed to designate a new remote station as the representative station. The foregoing process is repeated until a representative station responds to the calling data, whereupon the remote stations are polled, in sequence; and a communication channel is established between the master station and the particular polled station which replies to the polling operation.

The master station is controlled, as by a microcomputer, so that a receiving circuit in the master station sequentially scans communication channels to produce data indicating a vacant channel and which is to be stored in a memory as vacant channel information, a communication channel indicated to be a vacant channel by the stored information is employed when a communication channel is opened between the master station and the remote stations, when data indicating a vacant communication channel is to be stored in the memory as vacant channel information, it is determined whether or not such vacant communication channel disturbs a control channel or other communication channels by cross modulation, and, when the vacant communication channel is determined to be a channel which causes a cross modulation disturbance, the data indicating such communication channel is inhibited from being stored in the memory.

摘要： To enable high-speed learning of an antenna directionality to be used for millimeter-wave communication, there is provided a communication device including a first radio communication unit capable of radio communication in accordance with a first communication method, and a second radio communication unit capable of radio communication in accordance with a second communication method using a higher frequency band than the first communication method, in which, upon receiving an instruction signal instructing to learn a beam directionality, the first radio communication unit determines a reception start time point of a beam reference signal based on the instruction signal, and the second radio communication unit starts reception of the beam reference signal from the reception start time point determined by the first radio communication unit and determines a parameter value for specifying an optimum beam pattern based on the received beam reference signal.
