    摘要: A hybrid biometric authentication device that includes a plurality of feature extraction portions that respectively extract, from biometric information, a plurality of types of feature information that have mutually distinct properties, a feature combining portion that generates hybrid feature information by combining the plurality of types of feature information, a feature information storage portion that stores the hybrid feature information, a plurality of similarity computation portions that separates each of new information and registered information into the plurality of types of feature information, and compute a plurality of degrees of similarity between separate sets of a same type of the feature information, and a determination portion that, based on the plurality of degrees of similarity, determines whether the biometric information on which the new information is based and the biometric information on which the registered information is based have been acquired from a same person.

A finger area detection unit 52 computes area of a finger placed on the fingerprint sensor based on the finger placement detection result for small divided regions of the fingerprint sensor. A finger position detection unit 53 computes a position of the finger on the fingerprint sensor based on the detection result in the finger placement detection unit for the small divided regions of the fingerprint sensor. A finger release detection unit 54 detects whether or not the finger placed on the fingerprint sensor is released and outputs the respective results to a control information generation unit 50. Based on the output results, the control information generation unit 50 generates control information such as accelerator control information, handle control information, brake control information, etc. and outputs it to a game program.

    摘要: A part of the image input from a fingerprint sensor (S1) is cut out (S3), and a fundamental frequency is calculated by using second-order linear predictive analysis (S5). A total value S of the fundamental frequencies in a direction x and a direction y is calculated so as to be used as a grading scale of fineness in texture (S7). A prepared threshold is compared with the grading scale S obtained at S7, and the fineness in texture of a skin condition is evaluated in three grades (S9 to S17). Further, a ratio of the fundamental frequency of the subject image in the direction x to the fundamental frequency in the direction y is calculated so as to be used as a grading scale relating to texture running (S19). Similar grading scales are obtained by rotating the image, and the texture running is determined into two grades based on the grading scales (S31 to S35). Results of determining the fineness in texture and the texture running are displayed on a display screen (S37).
