摘要： A cathode ray tube having an internal magnetic shield formed of an inner magnetic plate and an outer magnetic plate which intersect at an acute angle, the distance from the upper terminal end of the inner magnetic plate to the inner surface of the panel, and the distance from the upper end of the outer magnetic plate to the inner surface of the panel being adjusted so as to satisfy a predetermined relationship, thus improving the magnetic shield effect.

摘要： A light source apparatus used in a backlight apparatus is disclosed. The light source apparatus includes a light-emitting diode unit and a wiring board. The light-emitting diode unit is provided as one unit by nonlinearly and closely placing respective light-emitting diodes of red, green, and blue colors, at least the light-emitting diode of one color out of the light-emitting diodes of the respective colors being constituted by first and second light-emitting diodes having different chromaticities such that an average chromaticity of the first and second light-emitting diodes is a predetermined chromaticity. On the wiring board, a plurality of light-emitting diode units are arranged at predetermined intervals in a predetermined direction.

摘要： A supporting device for an electron beam landing position selecting mask of a color cathode ray tube having an envelope, a color phosphor screen and an electron gun is disclosed which includes a metal stud pin arranged within the envelope and a spring member attached to the electron beam landing position selecting mask, the spring member being engaged with the metal stud pin so that the electron beam selecting mask is disposed in opposed relation to the color phosphor screen, the spring member having a polygonal engaging aperture bored therethrough at its end portion with which the metal stud pin is engaged wherein the stud pin contacts with the polygonal engaging aperture at three points to thereby settle the position of the electron beam selecting mask and the inner peripheral edge of the polygonal engaging aperture and the peripheral surface of the metal stud pin are fixed together at least at one point other than the three points by welding.

摘要： A cathode-ray tube in which outer convergence plates as constituents of the convergence plate assembly in the electron gun are supplied with individual voltages so that the horizontal misconvergence at the center portion and at the peripheral portions of the screen are positively corrected and in the arrangement the anode button is provided with a plurality of voltage supply pins. Further, the end portions of the two lead wires which are introduced form the anode button are opened outwardly so that the lead wires are prevented from coming in contact with the bead glass.
