摘要： A container and a method for making a container having inwardly formed threads are provided. The container includes a body portion having a bottom portion and a sidewall portion. A neck portion is formed above the body portion and defines an opening at a top of the container. The neck portion includes a vertical cylinder portion extending vertically upward from the body portion, the vertical cylinder portion having a thread portion formed as a concave profile around the vertical cylinder portion.

摘要： A container for storing a food product, the container including a top opening for receiving a material, a side portion extending between the top opening and a bottom of the container. The container provides an inward projecting rib disposed on the side portion having an upper portion having a radius of curvature smaller than a bottom portion of the rib. The rib provides for increased hoop strength and facilitates product evacuation below the rib.

摘要： A container and a method for making a container are provided. The method includes injection molding a preform having a body forming region, a neck forming region, and a dome forming region. After forming the preform, the preform is mounted in a mold having a surface, the mold surface having a neck forming surface to form a neck having a snap fit portion or a threaded portion. After mounting the preform, the preform is stretched against the mold surface to form an intermediate article having a dome portion connected to a neck portion of the container. Thereafter, the dome portion is severed from the neck portion to produce a wide mouth container, wherein the ratio of a wall thickness of the neck forming region of the preform to the wall thickness of the neck portion is ranges from 4.8 to 7.
