摘要: An ink-jet recording material having on a support at least an ink-receiving layer, with the ink-receiving layer being comprised of a light resistance-imparting layer as a lower layer and a coloration layer as an upper layer. Herein, the light resistance-imparting layer comprises a light-resistance imparting chemical constituted of 1 to 10 parts by weight of a benzotriazole compound as ultraviolet absorbent, 1 to 8 parts by weight of magnesium sulfate and 1 to 10 parts by weight of zinc oxide in combination with 100 parts by weight of an ink absorbing pigment, and besides, the coloration layer contains no light resistance-imparting chemicals.

摘要: An ink jet recording paper having on at least one side of a base paper at least two ink-receiving layers which each comprise a pigment and a resin as main components; the topmost layer of said ink-receiving layers having a thickness of 5 &mgr;m to less than 25 &mgr;m and a density of 0.4 g/cm3 to 0.6 g/cm3 and the ink-receiving layer arranged underneath said topmost layer having a density higher than the density of the topmost layer by 0.05 g/cm3 to 0.5 g/cm3, thereby acquiring high suitability for full-color ink jet printer of photo type.

摘要: An ink-jet recording material having on at least one surface of a base paper at least one ink-receiving layer comprising pigment and binder, with the ink-receiving layer having a rough texture specified by a surface roughness of at least 9.0 &mgr;m when measured with a PARKER PRINT-SURF measurement device (PPS) under a soft packing condition of 5 kgf/cm2, a surface roughness of at least 7.0 &mgr;m when measured with PPS under a soft packing condition of 10 kgf/cm2, a center-line average roughness (Ra) of at least 3.0 &mgr;m and an Oken-type smoothness of at most 30 seconds, thereby creating an atmosphere of paintings or calligraphic works in the images printed thereon.

摘要: An ink jet recording paper, which is excellent in ink absorbency and color-developing properties and has dull-tone glossiness, comprising an ink-receiving layer and at least two colloidal silica layers applied successively onto a support, each of said colloidal silica layers comprising chain colloidal silica as a main ingredient, wherein at least the colloidal silica layer contacting the ink-receiving layer contains no binder and has a coverage of about 1 to 3 g/m2, and the coverage of other colloidal silica layer is about 1 to 6 g/m2.

摘要: An ink jet recording medium is provided which can be excellent in the ink-absorbing property, showing a high coloring property of images, and capable of printing images of a high image quality without causing color unevenness even by bidirectional printing using a high-resolution printer. An ink jet recording medium in the case of carrying out bidirectional printing using a printer of a serial system wherein inks of at least two colors are mounted in carriages and the nozzle row is disposed in parallel with the main scanning direction of a head, wherein the recording medium comprises a base material and an ink-receiving layer, the ink-receiving layer has an average ink-absorbing capacity of from 10 to 30 cc/cm2, and the contact angle of the uppermost surface layer of the ink-receiving layer is from 20 to 60 degree to an ink having a surface tension of from 25 to 72 dyn/cm, is also provided.
