摘要: An ink jet recording medium is disclosed, comprising a base having provided on one side thereof a recording layer having an ink receiving layer whose surface is smoother than plain paper's and on the other side thereof a coating layer comprising an aqueous binder containing 10 to 40% by weight of a higher fatty acid salt to a coating weight of 0.1 to 0.3 g/m.sup.2. An ink jet recording medium is also disclosed, comprising a base having provided on only one side thereof a recording layer, said recording layer having a coefficient of dynamic friction of 0.65 to 0.75 in mutual friction, the back surface of said base having a coefficient of dynamic friction of 0.15 to 0.25 in mutual friction, and the coefficient of static friction between said recording layer and said back surface is 0.55 to 0.65. The ink jet recording medium is prevented from being double-fed and can be transferred at improved precision, thereby providing high quality images. The ink jet recording layer is freed from feed trouble and can be transferred at improved precision, thereby providing images of high resolving power.

摘要: A printing device includes a nozzle, a radiation unit and a control unit. The nozzle is configured to eject metallic ink including metal fragments onto a medium. The radiation unit is configured to irradiate the medium with light to temporarily cure the metallic ink. The control unit is configured to control irradiation of the light by the radiation unit so that a film thickness formed by the metallic ink is equal to or less than a length of a long side of the metal fragments when the metallic ink is temporarily cured on the medium.

摘要: An operation part in a pattern inspection apparatus includes a defect candidate image generator for generating a binary defect candidate image representing a defect candidate area in an inspection image by comparing the inspection image with a reference image, in an inspection image masking part the inspection image is masked with the defect candidate image to obtain a masked inspection image. In a feature value calculation part, an autocorrelation feature value is obtained from the masked inspection image, and outputted to a classifying part. The classifying part comprises a classifier outputting a classification result on the basis of the autocorrelation feature value and a classifier construction part for constructing the classifier by learning. It is thereby possible to easily perform the high accurate classification of defect candidate using the autocorrelation feature value which is hard to characterize as compared with geometric feature value or feature value representing density.
