The first node (101) determines (302) whether the movement of the radio antenna (120) is above a threshold over a time period. The radio antenna (120) is connected to a second node (102) operating in the wireless communications network (100). The movement is with respect to at least one wireless device (140) operating in the wireless communications network (100). The determining (302) is based on an analysis of one or more properties of radio transmissions to or from the radio antenna (120) over the time period. The first node (101) initiates (304) providing a message to one of: the second node (102) and a third node (103) operating in the wireless communications network (100). The initiation is based on a result of the determination.

摘要: Mechanisms for selecting beam direction for a radio communications device are provided. A method is performed by the radio communications device. The method includes obtaining radio channel estimates of a radio channel on which radio waves have been transmitted between the radio communications device and another radio communications device at an angle of arrival and departure. The method includes determining a Doppler shift from the radio channel estimates. The method includes estimating at least one of the angle of arrival and departure of the radio waves based on the Doppler shift. The method includes selecting a beam direction for a signal to be transmitted between the radio communications device and this another radio communications device over the radio channel according to the estimated angle of arrival or departure.

摘要: A method performed by a radio node for increasing a throughput of a MIMO channel. The radio node operates in a wireless communication network 100. The beams are beamformed at a transmitter of the radio node. The beams comprise: A first beam comprising a first beam gain in a first direction, and at least one second beam wherein each at least one second beam comprises a respective second beam gain in a respective second direction. When decided that the signal strength on the first beam is a first threshold stronger than the signal strength on each respective at least one second beam, and the signal strength on the at least one second beam is above a second threshold, the radio node increasing the throughput of the MIMO channel by suppressing (302) the first beam with respect to its beam gain.

摘要: A method for assisting in cell combination management in a cellular communication system is presented. The method comprises obtaining of network statistics, comprising statistics associated with pairs of cells as well as cell loads. At least one candidate cell combinations selected. The candidate cell combination is a combination of cells for which a mobility measure deduced from the mobility statistics for pairs of cells participating in the combination of cells exceeds a first predetermined threshold. A total load capacity is determined for each of the candidate cell combinations. A cell combination procedure is recommended for a first cell combination. A cell combination, for which a load margin exceeds zero, is allowed to be chosen as the first cell combination. The load margin is a difference between the determined total load capacity and a sum of the cell loads. A network node performing such method is disclosed.

摘要: There is presented a method for a network node for reducing interference in a wireless device (200), the wireless device operating using a time division duplex, TDD, configuration in a cell, from at least another wireless device operating in a neighbouring cell using another TDD configuration. The TDD configuration is divided into different time units for at least downlink, DL, and uplink, UL, transmission. The method includes assigning time units in the TDD configuration to one of at least two time unit groups, where the assignment of a time unit to a time unit group is based the interference from the neighboring cell using the another TDD configuration. 摘要: A method performed by a first radio node for selecting a transmission rank is provided. The radio node is capable of using at least a first antenna beam and a second antenna beam for communication with a second radio node in a wireless communication network. The radio node communicates with the second radio node by using the first antenna beam and a first transmission rank. The radio node obtains second radio parameters for the second antenna beam. The radio node then selects a second transmission rank based on the obtained second radio parameters. The second transmission rank is to be used for communication with the second radio node in the second beam. The selection of the second transmission rank is triggered before obtaining any Rank Indicator (RI) for the second antenna beam.

The method includes initiating, for a candidate beam set, a beam sweep procedure for communication with another radio transceiver device.
