    Abstract: A method performed by a policy node for handling policies related to a radio device in a communications network is provided. The radio device supporting proxy server functionality. During a session establishment of the radio device, the policy node determines (602) that obtained policies related to the radio device comprises one or more rules. The respective one or more rules comprises any one or more out of: An application descriptor related to the one or more rules, and a domain descriptor related to the one or more rules. The policy node determines (605), based on received capability information, that the radio device is not aware of any or more one out of an application and a domain, and that the radio device supports proxy server functionality. The policy node handles the policies related to the radio device by activating (606) a proxy server in the radio device by sending a message to the radio device. The message comprises: An indication requesting the radio device to activate the proxy server, the one or more rules, and a configuration related to the proxy server. The proxy server enables the radio device, even though not being application aware or domain aware, to apply the one or more rules comprised in the policies related to the radio device.

    Abstract: A technique of handling capability information stored in a subscriber database in a core network domain of a wireless communication network is presented. A method implementation of the technique comprises receiving a subscriber capability request, wherein the subscriber capability request includes an identifier associated with a subscription. The method further comprises retrieving from the subscriber database, in response to the subscriber capability request, subscriber capability information for the subscription associated with the first identifier. The subscriber capability information is indicative of support of at least one non-A/V medium different from video (V) and audio (A) in a subscriber domain, such as a olfactory (scent-related) or tactile (haptic) medium. Further still, the method comprises sending a subscriber capability response including the subscriber capability information.

    Abstract: A method for enabling automated provisioning of Packet Flow Descriptors (PFD) for the detection of applications in 5GC by a network data analytics entity (e.g. NWDAF).     Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for traffic detection. The method which may be performed by a first network node includes receiving a message from a second network node. The method further includes determining packet flow description information for traffic detection according to the message. The packet flow description information may indicate a combination criterion for two or more packet flow descriptions, and/or a protocol matching criterion for a domain name in a packet flow description. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, the packet flow description definition can be extended to support more accurate traffic detection.
