摘要: A method, network node and wireless device are provided. A wireless device for wireless communications is provided. The wireless device includes processing circuitry including a processor and a memory, the memory configured to store instructions that, when executed by the processor, configure the wireless device to: receive activation information before a completion of a handover of the wireless device from a serving network node to a target network node where the activation information indicates a first set of a plurality of sets of reference signal configurations has been activated for reference signal feedback, and provide reference signal feedback based on the first set of the plurality of sets of reference signal configurations.

摘要: According to certain embodiments, a method (200) for use in a wireless device (305) includes starting a first timer for monitoring a radio link for a radio link failure, wherein the first timer is started based at least in part on: one or more periodic out of sync (OOS) indications associated with the radio link and aperiodic indications obtained from monitoring a beam for a beam link failure. The radio link failure is declared in response to expiry of the first timer.

摘要: Techniques and apparatus for handling changes in wireless local-area network access point, WLAN AP, in an aggregation scenario are disclosed. An example method is performed in a first access node (30) in a wireless network, where the first access node (30) is serving a user equipment, UE, (40) for which communications between the UE (40) and a first WLAN AP are aggregated with communications between the UE (40) and the first access node (30), in cooperation with a first wireless termination (WT) that controls the first WLAN AP. The example method comprises: determining that communications between the UE (40) and the first WLAN AP should be replaced with communications between the UE (40) and the second WLAN AP; determining that the second WLAN AP is controlled by the first WT; and sending a reconfiguration message to the first WT, the reconfiguration message comprising an identifier of the second WLAN AP.

摘要: Configuration of measurement requirements on cells and beams in NR is made more efficient by, in a user equipment, UE, recieving, information from a network node, which information indicates: a first number K of beams to be measured by the UE, and a second number L of cells in which the UE is required to measure the first number K of beams. The UE then carries out measurements using the received information; and performs at least one operational task based on a result of the measurements.

摘要: According to certain embodiments, a method by a wireless device for reporting a connection status is provide that includes receiving a message from a network node. The message may be related to a mobility set associated with the wireless device. The wireless device may determine that the wireless device is not connected to a WLAN access point included within a mobility set. A timer may be started, and the wireless device may attempt to establish a connection between the wireless device and at least one WLAN access point within the mobility set before an expiration of the timer. If the connection is established between the wireless device and the at least one WLAN access point within the mobility set before the expiration of the timer, the timer may be stopped. If the connection is not established between the wireless device and the at least one WLAN access point within the mobility set before the expiration of the timer, a report may be sent to a network node to indicate a connection failure.

摘要: According to one aspect of the teachings herein, a base station (20) schedules the transmission of uplink reference signals by a wireless device (16) separately from scheduling uplink data transmissions by the device (16). The separate scheduling may be done at specific times, under specific conditions, and with respect to specific devices (16) or groups of devices (16). Separate scheduling allows, for example, the base station (20) to use smaller scheduling intervals that are possible when uplink reference signals are integrally included in any scheduled uplink data transmission. As a further advantage, the density or number of uplink reference signal transmissions by a given device (16) can be adapted, e.g., based on channel conditions, data transmission formats, etc. Correspondingly, a wireless device (16) is configured to receive separate grants for uplink data transmissions and uplink reference signal transmissions, and to make corresponding data and reference signal transmissions in accordance with those separate grants.

摘要: Methods may be provided to operate a network node of a radio access network. Such methods may include transmitting first control information to a wireless terminal, and the first control information may define a frequency resource available for data communication with the wireless terminal over a subframe. After transmitting the first control information, second control information may be transmitted to the wireless terminal. The second control information may define a time resource for a sub-subframe of the subframe. Communication of data may be provided between the network node and the wireless terminal during the sub-subframe of the subframe defined by the frequency resource of the first control information and the time resource of the second control information. Related network nodes and wireless terminals are also discussed.
