A method performed at a terminal device may comprise: predicting a buffer size associated with data to be transmitted; and transmitting a buffer state report, BSR, including the predicted buffer size to a network node. A method performed at a network node may comprise: receiving a buffer state report, BSR, including a predicted buffer size associated with data to be received from a terminal device; and transmitting a grant for the data according to the received BSR. The latency of data transmission from the terminal device to the network node may be reduced.

摘要: Methods and systems for reliability enhancement for User Equipment (UE) with partial repetitions in Configured Grant (CG) are provided. According to one aspect, a method, performed by a UE in a Fifth Generation (5G) network, comprises: receiving data to be transmitted as uplink (UL) transmissions in CG resources K number of times within a CG period; determining that the number of Transmission Occasions (TOs) remaining within the CG resources and within the CG period for the UE is less than K; and either: transmitting the data within the remaining TOs within the CG resources and also within TOs within shared resources such that the transmission is performed at least K number of times; waiting until the beginning of the next CG period to transmit K number of times within the CG resources; or transmitting the data within the remaining TOs within the CG resources with an increased power.

摘要: Embodiments include methods, for a user equipment (UE), of uplink (UL) transmission of data to a plurality of transmission reception points (TRPs) in a wireless network. Such methods include receiving, from the wireless network, configurations for a plurality of configured grants of resources for UL transmission, UL CGs, wherein at least one of the UL CG configurations includes resources for transmission to a plurality of TRPs. Such methods include selecting one or more of the UL CG configurations for transmission of data available at the UE based on characteristics of the data and/or of radio channels between the UE and the respective TRPs. Such methods include transmitting the data to one or more of the plurality of TRPs on resources of the selected one or more UL CG configurations. Other embodiments include complementary methods for a network node, as well as UEs and network nodes configured to perform such methods.

摘要: A receiver blindly determines which parts of the soft buffer to flush by comparing the reception of a first transmission to the reception of a second transmission (i.e., a re-transmission of the first transmission). Any large differences between the first and second transmissions are identified as puncturing events. After identifying the location of the puncturing events, the receiver then evaluates different hypotheses about which one of the transmissions was punctured in the different events. For each of the hypotheses the receiver attempts to decode the received data and the receiver stops processing once decoding is successful or after the receiver has processed all of the hypotheses.

摘要: According to the present disclosure, behaviors of a Base Station (BS) and a User Equipment (UE) pertinent to Reference Signal (RS) transmissions are discussed. BS may configure RS corresponding to a set of antenna ports in two or more groups of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols on a short Physical Downlink Sharing CHannel (sPDSCH), where subcarrier indices used for RS transmission are different between at least two groups of OFDM symbols. Then, BS may transmit the RS to UE. UE will receive RS and perform channel estimation based on the received RS.

摘要: Systems and methods for dynamic and flexible configurations for configured grants are provided. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device for configuring uplink grants includes receiving, from a network node, one or more indications to enable one or more configured grant configurations per cell and/or per BWP where at least one configured grant configuration indicating a plurality of transmission occasions within a period. The method also includes transmitting at least one transmission based on the at least one configured grant configuration. This may enable the use of different periodicity of mixed Time Sensitive Network (TSN), random Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication (URLLC), and enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) traffics; reduce the misalignment delay of the arrived data; improve the spectral efficiency of the eMBB traffic while satisfying the URLLC requirement; and/or reduce the number of Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request processes needed to transmit a considerable number of Configured Grant configurations.
