摘要: Multiple light emitting device modules can be configured to illuminate in multiple different directions, while avoiding deterioration of radiation efficiency by use of fins. In a lighting fixture, multiple light emitting device modules can each have fins for radiating heat generated by the light emitting device. The multiple light emitting device modules can be arranged in such a manner that a main optical axis line of one light emitting device module and main optical axis lines of any other light emitting device modules form an angle larger than zero degrees, or are in a skewed position, and the fins can be arranged in such a manner that all the fins are parallel with respect to a vertical plane and roots of the fins are positioned at the same level as or lower than tips of the fins.

摘要: Light emitting device modules illuminate at a wide angle in the longitudinal direction of a lighting fixture. The lighting fixture can be provided with a light emitting device module having a light emitting device, an installation member for mounting multiple light emitting device modules thereon, and a support for supporting the installation member. The installation member 2 can be bent in multiple stages so that light beams from the multiple light emitting device modules mounted on the installation member are pointed to multiple different directions. The installation member can be bent in multiple stages so that an angle between the main optical axis line of the light emitting device module mounted on the forefront part of the installation member and a horizontal plane is smaller than the angle between the main optical axis line of the light emitting device module mounted on the root part of the installation member and the horizontal plane.

摘要: A vehicle light that includes a semiconductor light emitting device can have a simple structure which suppresses deterioration of the light emitting quality of the device. The vehicle light can be configured to prevent aging and/or deterioration of components, such as a vapor deposited silver coating on the reflection surface of a reflector of the light. The vehicle light can also include a projector type optical unit that has the following components: a semiconductor light emitting device; a reflector which surrounds the semiconductor light emitting device from a rear side such that light emitted from the semiconductor light emitting device is reflected in a forward direction; and a projection lens which projects light being directly from the light emitting device or after reflected by the reflector in the forward direction. Furthermore, a space around the semiconductor light emitting device of the optical unit can be hermetically sealed from the outside atmosphere. A sealing member can be used to form the sealed space.

The liquid-cooled LED lighting device can include an LED light source, a liquid cooling system including a heat receiving jacket and a radiator, an LED light source-driving power supply for supplying power to the LED light source, and a liquid cooling system-driving power supply for supplying power to the liquid cooling system. The LED lighting device can include a control unit, such as a timer circuit. The control unit can maintain supply of the power to the liquid cooling system for a predetermined period of time after supply of the power to the LED light source is stopped.

摘要: A cooling liquid can be circulated in a liquid cooling system, so that a light source unit and a control unit can be forcedly cooled by the cooling liquid. Thus, a temperature increase in these components can be suppressed, thereby achieving an increase in the output power of a liquid-cooled LED lighting device. The liquid-cooled LED lighting device can include a housing, a light source unit having LEDs as light sources, a liquid cooling system, and a control unit to control the light source unit to be turned on. The liquid cooling system can include a heat receiving jacket, a radiator, a circulation pump and a fan. The light source unit and the control unit can be disposed with the heat receiving jacket of the liquid cooling system interposed therebetween. Further, one surface of the control unit can be brought in close contact with the heat receiving jacket while a heat radiation portion (e.g., fins or pins) can be provided at an other surface of the control unit.
