Abstract:
A liquid-cooled LED lighting device can be provided in which a temporal increase in the temperature of the tubing and the circulation pump when the LED light sources are turned off is prevented to ensure high reliability. The liquid-cooled LED lighting device can include an LED light source, a liquid cooling system including a heat receiving jacket and a radiator, an LED light source-driving power supply for supplying power to the LED light source, and a liquid cooling system-driving power supply for supplying power to the liquid cooling system. The LED lighting device can include a control unit, such as a timer circuit. The control unit can maintain supply of the power to the liquid cooling system for a predetermined period of time after supply of the power to the LED light source is stopped.
Abstract:
In an on-vehicle network diagnosis system, a master data storage stores master data, which includes reference connection information of a plurality of electronic control apparatuses with respect to an on-vehicle network. Current connection information of the plurality of electronic control apparatuses with respect to the on-vehicle network is obtained based on a response, which is transmitted from the plurality of electronic control apparatuses in reply to a response request. A validity of a connecting state of the plurality of electronic control apparatuses relative to the on-vehicle network is diagnosed by comparing the current connection information with the master data and thereby determining whether the current connection information matches with the master data.
Abstract:
A test apparatus sends a command to an A-control module as a destination. The command includes a request to send fault information at the A-control module and a B-control module being included in an integrated ECU to the test apparatus. The A-control module reads the own diagnostic code and orders the B-control module to read the diagnostic code of the B-control module. The B-control module reads the own diagnostic code in response to the order from the A-control module. A response data generation module in the A-control module generates a fault information command based on the diagnostic codes detected by the A-control module and the B-control module and sends the command to the test apparatus.

Abstract:
A vehicle light that includes a semiconductor light emitting device can have a simple structure which suppresses deterioration of the light emitting quality of the device. The vehicle light can be configured to prevent aging and/or deterioration of components, such as a vapor deposited silver coating on the reflection surface of a reflector of the light. The vehicle light can also include a projector type optical unit that has the following components: a semiconductor light emitting device; a reflector which surrounds the semiconductor light emitting device from a rear side such that light emitted from the semiconductor light emitting device is reflected in a forward direction; and a projection lens which projects light being directly from the light emitting device or after reflected by the reflector in the forward direction. Furthermore, a space around the semiconductor light emitting device of the optical unit can be hermetically sealed from the outside atmosphere. A sealing member can be used to form the sealed space.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a novel oxazolidone ring-containing epoxy resin suitable for use as a resin for a coated film having a structure of the formula: wherein R3 represents a residue excluding epoxy groups of diepoxide, X represents a residue excluding isocyanate groups of polyurethane diisocyanate, and n represents an integer of 1 to 5; and wherein X has a structure of the formula: wherein R1 represents a residue excluding isocyanate groups of diisocyanate, R2 represents a residue excluding hydroxyl groups of diol, and m represents an integer of 2 to 10.
Abstract:
A welded structure constituted of a fuel filling container having an opening, and a welded part including a pipe-shaped section whose one end is disposed in the opening of the fuel filling container. A welding section is fixedly disposed around the outer periphery of the pipe-shaped section. The welding section is welded through a welding surface to the outer surface of the fuel filling container. In the welded structure, the welding section of the welded part includes a welding strength providing layer and a fuel permeation resistance layer which are coaxial with the pipe-shaped section of the welded part and radially laminated to define the annular welding surface. Additionally, at least an inner peripheral surface portion of the pipe-shaped section and an outer peripheral surface portion of the other end portion of the pipe-shaped section are formed of a fuel permeation resisting material.

Abstract:
The present invention can provide a cationic electrocoating composition, comprising:(a) an acrylic resin functioning as a leveling agent, which has both an amino group and an acid group in one molecule and has a hydroxyl value of 50 to 200,(b) a base resin, and(c) a crosslinking agent, wherein the acrylic resin (a) is formulated in an amount of 0.1 to 20 percent by weight, based on the total weight of a mixture of the base resin (b) and the crosslinking agent (c), and the cationic electrocoating composition is substantially free from lead compound. The present invention also provides a method for preventing cratering or cissing on an electrocoated film formed from the cationic electrocoating composition.
Abstract:
A diglycidyl ether epoxy resin is reacted with a blocked prepolymer having a soft segment and an asymmetric bisurethane having a first urethane group with a lower alkanol and a second urethane group with a monohydroxyl compound capable of enhancing thermoflowability. The product is then reacted with a cationic active hydrogen compound such as amines to open the remaining epoxy rings. The modified epoxy resin thus produced is dispersed in an aqueous medium containing a neutralizing agent together with a blocked polyisocyanate crosslinker to give a cathodic electrodeposition paint having improved impact strength and thermoflowability.
